I stayed in the waiting room, obviously waiting to see if my best friend was ok, when I was pacing around the room the doctor came
"Um miss. Murphy?" The doctor asked I looked at the doctor " yes m-me" I said stuttering " and who are you to...... Ivy?" He said looking at the clip bored " her um... Her sister" I lied. " ok yes well ivy is making progress but..." The doctor said pausing " what is it doctor?" I asked " Ivy is in a coma ma'm.." He said. His words affected me. Me and Ivy where best friends ever since we learned how to walk. " no your wrong she can't be!" I yelled " she can't be!" This time u started crying, I broke down on the floor " well you can see her if u want.." He asked. I got up and wiped my tears. I walked in her room. Room number 501 does where her favorite numbers. I saw Ivy laying down on her bed peacefully and quietly. " hey Ivy I missed you" I said holding back the tears.. " I wanted to let you know that I miss you and I want you to wake up... I can't handle life without you, now knowing you are in a coma.." I said laying down next to her. " who am I kidding, you can't hear me" I said sitting up looking at the pictures of random things in the room. It's quiet. All I can hear is the machines. " visting time is over you have to leave" the nurse said. I nod my head and stay in the waiting room. I wait for my best friend.
