(For this one shot Matteo and Luna are the same age.)
Luna was hurrying to her potions class. She couldn't be late again, Hufflepuff had lost ten points already, because she was late from her last class, she couldn't afford more.
"Miss Valente, you're late." professor Slughorn said, not moving his gaze from the students already doing potions. "You don't have enough time to do this potion so go help your table group."
Luna was little shocked, but only little. She didn't lose any points or didn't get detention. She slowly reached to her table and sat next to Matteo, very handsome Slytherin boy, who was friends with her best friend's boyfriend. Nina Simonetti, very shy Ravenclaw girl, was dating Gaston Perida, well known Gryffindor. It was funny actually, how all four of them were from different houses, but were still friends.
"Hey, what are you guys doing?" Luna asked and peeked over Matteo's shoulder to see the instructions to the potion.
"Some kind of antidote." Matteo replied and mixed the potion two times to the widdershins. "It is great against hexes and jinxes, but burns skin pretty badly, if it gets touched with it."
"Oh, okay what do I do?" Luna asked, jumping little on her seat.
"Stay away from this potion. I don't want it on me." Matteo laughed little. "But if you want to help somehow, you can get Slughorn here, I'm done."
"You're no fun." Luna said, but waved the professor to check the potion.
"Very good work. 2 points to Hufflepuff and 4 for Slytherin." professor Slughorn said and left to walk around the class to check everyone else's.
"I don't know why you got points, I did all the work." Matteo murmured and poured little of the potion to a glass bottle.
"Just because you did all the work, it doesn't mean I couldn't get points. It could be, because I can actually stand you sometimes."
"What do you mean, everybody loves me." Matteo kind of asked.
"They love your looks." Luna replied, before actually registering what she said.
"So, you say I'm good looking?" Matteo asked and smirked.
"Keep dreaming." Luna said and walked out of the class. There was only few other people gathering their stuff, besides Matteo who tried to think what just happened.

Luna was flying in her broom in the quidditch pitch, looking for the snitch. Her practice had been well, until Matteo came to the pitch.
"What do you want?" she said, maybe harsher than she intended.
"Is this the snitch you're looking for." Matteo asked and played with the snitch.
"Matteo! Give it back, you aren't supposed to take the snitch from the ground or at my practice!" Luna yelled and landed next to Matteo.
"I'm sorry, a habit?" Matteo said and leaned closer to Luna.
"So what are you doing here?" Luna asked, she hasn't seen him at her practice before.
"I came to ask, if you have seen Lizzie, I can't find her anywhere." Matteo said and looked hopefully at Luna.
"I think I saw her at the third floor before my practice." she said and shrugged. A sigh was heard from Matteo's mouth.
