+"Where do you think you're going at this time of the day?"
Jungkook, who was just about to grab the door handle and leave the house, froze, and then turned around. Why was he nervous all of a sudden? He knew he could be with Taehyung if he wanted to, his father's opinion not having much impact on him.
"To Taehyung, why?" Jungkook turned around fully now, after gaining a bit more confidence. Maybe his father was asking just because it was late, the boy couldn't help but be a bit suspicious though. "Jungkook, you do know it's 11pm, right?" His father crossed his arms over his chest. "Can't you wait till tomorrow before meeting your boyfriend?"
Okay, so, his father wasn't really aware of the boys' situation. But Jungkook didn't bother correct him, the thought of Taehyung really being his boyfriend making him happy. "He had to talk about something. Please, dad?" He searched for his father's eyes, not wanting to make this thing bigger than it had to be. "What would you do if I said no?"
His father's words made Jungkook a bit surprised, he wasn't sure of what to say for a few seconds, his mouth just hung slightly open as he thought of the right use of words. "I...I don't know, I wouldn't expect you to say no?" The statement came out more as a question, but his father didn't seem to care much. "I don't have school tomorrow and Taehyung isn't working," he was quick to add before his father got to say anything in-between. "Are you two doing nasty stuff?"
That's the moment Jungkook became completely speechless and just stared at the man. Was that what he was wondering? Jungkook felt like laughing after letting the question sink in, but he didn't want to be rude. "Uhm, no dad, we're not." Jungkook tried his best to look his father straight in the eyes, because he was speaking the truth, but if he laughed then his father wouldn't believe him for anything. "Well, that's good. Because those things are disgusting."
"What do you mean?" His father sighed and Jungkook regretted continuing the conversation with that unnecessary question.
"Just...keep away from crossing the line with Taehyung, okay? Go now," and then, Jungkook was almost pushed outside, thoughts filling his head with confusion. He tried to think of something else as he began his not very long trip to Taehyung.
...
A little later.
"Yeah, so, my dad was acting really weird earlier before I left. That's why it took longer for me to get here," Jungkook quickly explained after entering Taehyung's home. The older raised an eyebrow. "Acting weird? Tell me." Jungkook took his shoes off and hung his jacket on one of the many hooks stuck to the wall. The two walked straight to the bedroom, but sat down on the bed and Taehyung waited for Jungkook to start talking. He felt like the younger should let his thoughts out before they spoke about those other things.
"He was asking why I was leaving so late at first, and that's weird because he's never really asked about that before. And then I quickly explained that I was going over to you because you wanted to talk, and I'm not sure if he believed me. He seemed so curious all of a sudden. And sure, it's nice he's suddenly questioning all the things I do because really, he usually doesn't care much," Jungkook sighed before continuing, a small and shy smile appearing on his face. "Then, he asked something that made me so surprised, and it was really hard not to laugh."
Taehyung smiled too, enjoying Jungkook's happy tone. "He...he asked if we two were doing "nasty stuff", as he likes to call it, and..." Jungkook giggled a bit. "Is that what's been on his mind? I really wanted to ask if that's what's bothering him, but it felt kinda rude."
Taehyung laughed, maybe it wasn't that funny overall, but it was embarrassing.
"But uh yeah, he was weird, and then he kind of pushed me outside and now I'm here," the younger shrugged. "And I guess we need to talk now?"
The older nodded and sighed deeply, the smile disappearing slowly.
"It's just...the kiss and all, first and foremost: do you regret it?" Taehyung felt ridiculously silly as the question left his lips, but that was one of the many thoughts that had been annoying him the past few days. "Was it uncomfortable for you? Did you feel forced or anything?"
Those questions weren't what Jungkook had been expecting, so as a response, he aggressively shook his head. "No, no, no, not at all!" Without thinking properly, Jungkook's hands made their way to Taehyung's neck, pulling the older a little closer. "I wouldn't be sitting here with you if it made me feel uncomfortable in any way," suddenly, his voice became softer, and maybe even slightly deeper? Taehyung bit his lower lip as his eyes traveled down Jungkook's face, eventually falling onto the boy's slightly dry, yet beautiful, lips.
"I was almost one hundred percent sure you felt that way," Taehyung mumbled, his hands now traveling around Jungkook's waist, the two now getting even closer. "I didn't, and still don't," Jungkook mumbled. Neither of them knew why their voices had gotten so low, but well, they didn't complain. "There's nothing to talk about then," the younger added. His hands moved up to Taehyung's cheeks, softly rubbing his thumb across one of them.
A slight smirk took its place on the older's lips. "It's okay for me to kiss you then, huh?"
Without giving the younger a chance to fully respond, Taehyung leaned in and kissed him, hands moving up from the younger's waist to his neck, getting a better grip. Jungkook melted into the kiss, and even though it felt silly thinking that way, that was exactly how he felt like.
