I woke up early today since i have To go to work at 8 am and I'm making breakfast for my 'dad'

I cooked the eggs and bacon because even though he has hurt me to the point where I forgot what his love felt like.. he's still my dad and I know that he's just still hurt from moms death.

I turned off the stove and set out the food. I was about to leave but I felt someone grab my hair.

"Ow" I whimpered

"Did your dumbass cook breakfast and do what you were told?" He says pushing me against the wall

"Yes" I mumble

"Good" he pushes me away and I hit the ground.

But he did nothing else.

Maybe He's sober so he's not as harsh.. but I still know that's not the dad I knew when I was 5

At least my bruises are getting better and not worse.

I quickly got up and leave before I could be late on my second day..

I arrived and greeted everyone and met more coworkers.

I saw all the girls jamming out in the break room to a boy band I haven't heard of

"What are you guys listening to?" I ask leaning against the door frame

"Why don't we!" Rea yells

Then they all started yelling out names but I did not understand a single thing they said.

I would love music but my phone isn't the best so I can't really do anything

"Wait! One by one or show me pictures!"
Oh god what have I gotten myself into

They immediately rushed to me going into their filled camera rolls and found pictures instantly

"Look! Zach is such a babe" rea says

"Jacks hair!" Emmy gushes

"But Daniels eyes are amazing.." Ella fangirls.

Wait... these are Christina's friends... and Jonah.

This is what he's been doing lately?
Music.. and he's gone so far I'm so proud of him.

"Sooo who do you favor in the group"
Emmy questions which came out more as a demand or threat

"Uhm.. I guess all?" I unsurely said

"As long as you're not going for dani I am fine" Ella shrugs

Little do these girls know..

The day continued as they fangirl because they released a surprise EP.

Eventually the exhausting hours came to an end as my back hurt from bending over to groom the dogs.

It's now 4 pm and I have free time so the girls wanted to go to the beach.

But I remembered.. what if my dad gets home early. And the house is a mess from when he came home last night..

He'd only go home early today because he found a show he likes and just watches it all day.. it really makes me uncomfortable to be in that house when he's there.
But yet I have to go back or he will find a way to find me again.

Trust me I've tried to run away before when I was 15.

He found me.

"Guys I don't know if I can go" I frown

"What why" they all murmur

"My dad.. Uhm" I couldn't think of an excuse

"Your dad will understand now come on I'll let you borrow one of my bikini!" Emmy says smiling

She doesn't know.. but a bikini? How will that work.. my scars and bruises from being beaten don't allow

"I'll go but I'm not going to wear a bikini"

Then they started to offer other types of swimsuits like a one piece, tankini, high waist

"No, I just don't want to wear stuff revealing.." I shrug

"Ugh fine but you're still coming! Who knows maybe you'll meet a hot guy" rea laughs evilly

"And I can beat you at volleyball!" Ella challenges

"You're on!" I said and we head to their houses to get clothes and off we went to the beach
