Choose Me [Oikawa X Reader]

"So why is it exactly that I'm here?" I finally question.

     The other person in the room steps forward, he glances at Oikawa-san momentarily as he takes a long breath before saying, "Hi, it nice to meet you. My name is Iwaizumi Hajime, its a pleasure to meet you," he bows post introduction. 

     I take this as my cue to do the same, "Nice to meet you too, my name is (L/N)(F/N), " I bow for a moment before raising my head. Somehow, my eyes come to meet with Oikawa-san's and I end up glaring at him as he imitates my introduction while rolling his eyes mockingly.

     What was that?! He's so childish, ughhhh! This kid is looking for a fight, I mentally groan. If I weren't his manager I would probably give a good ol' smack at the back of the head. 

Who does this kiddo think he is?

     No longer wanting to be in this awkward I bring out a little persistence in me, "So, my question?"

    This Iwaizumi-san chuckles at me and a tinge of pink layers my cheek out of embarrassment. He beings, "Actually I was brought here out of my own accord; it was Oikawa-kun's idea to have us meet here."

"Indeed it is..." Oikawa-san confirms.

I mentally roll my eyes; what the hell is wrong with this guy? first off, why does he talk so strange? and second, is he tryin' to be 'mysterious' or somethin' of the other? what a pain.

I clear my throat, "Okay, so could someone please explain to me why is it that we are 'secretly' meeting here? If you are not willing to tell me, I shall take my leave."

Because a secluded meeting like this is totally sketchy! I am seriously shooketh!

"Wait. I brought you here to discuss something rather important," so the idiot states.

I force a smile, "Please go on, tell me the very important topic of disscusion."

     Iwaizumi-san chuckles at my retort and I use every ounce of my body to hold back my grin. On the other hand, Oikawa-san had his arms crossed in front of his chest with an expression that reads 'not funny.' Yet, his reaction in itself was hilarious. He strongly resembled a child when their toy has been taken away from them.

"Well..." he begins, "as you know, we have an extremely strict 'no dating/romance' policy on the team..." 

I nod in confirmation.

     The expression on Oikawa-san's face suddenly turns dark and he proceeds to step toward me until there is no distance left between us. I don't feel anything close to a shudder, I stare him down straight in the eye and face him head on. We have this intense staring contest for a minute and I can see Iwaizumi-san start to get flustered and is close to pulling Oikawa-san away from me. 

"You can't." Oikawa finally says. As if he timed it so that Iwaizumi-san could barely let his finger tips come into contact with Oikawa-san's shoulders. 

"Excuse me?" I reiterate. "I can't do what now?"

He leans in to me. We are eye level and I can feel the warmth of his breath fan my neck profusely whilst his the heat from his body warming up mine.

     "You can't fall for any of us." He shifts his gaze to the little amount of floor between us, "the last manager fell for one of us and the whole team began to plummet downwards... the senpais from last year felt terrible and had many regrets. I do not want the upperclassmen this year to feel the same way. I want them to live on and walk forward thinking that they did everything they could have possibly could in every practice, match, and team meet."

He finally tore his gaze away from the floor and looked into my eyes like they were glass, he said it almost in a whisper; "Nothing good comes from loving one of us..."

I was stunned when Oikawa-san and Iwaizumi-san did next; they took a step back and with a ninety-degree bow they yelled, "Please take care of all of us whole-heartedly!"

I couldn't help but let my smile show through, "Let's do it!"
