Chapter 8

Catherine POV:

"OHHHHHHHHHH" I moaned in pain. Don't think wrongly. I was on FIRE. Or, it felt like it. My whole body was hot and my teeth ached.

"Listen, breathe. It will be worth it. " My father told me as my mom stood worried. I grimaced. I didn't know what was happening.

Earlier

"Hey slut, where's your hero sidekick?" I heard Emma say to me. She is an all around BIATCH. I rolled my eyes at her.

"I don't know whore, where's your boy toy?" I smirked as everyone went "oooo".

"YOU HOE!!!" She screeched at me.

"I don't know, you're the one who cheats on every bf you have." I snap back at her.

"SHUT UP." She screamed.

" SHUT UP" I mocked at her. She growled and then smirked.

"Watch your back bitch." She said. I rolled my eyes and walked away. Truth is, I was worried about Iris. She had been gone for almost a month now.

I head to lunch. I was wearing designer clothes that I just bought. I sat with my back up friends, since without Iris, I didn't feel welcome with her friends. I was calmly eating then something hit my back. I pursed my lips and looked at it. It was a glob of mashed potatoes. My mouth hung open as I looked around for the culprit. I spotted Emma and threw a glob back at her. She screeched and glared at me.

"BITCH" she yelled. I rolled my eyes and sat back down. Then, she dumped her whole tray of food on my head. I snapped. I stood up and threw her over the table. I didn't know where the strength came from, but it was helpful. She yelled and pulled my hair and I growled. I pulled her hair and flung her against the wall. She moaned and was bleeding. I spit out blood as well and walked away. She cried and everyone glared at me. I said sorry to her and left. I didn't know what came over me.

After school I was walking home when I heard heels clicking after me. I stopped and spun around to see Emma and her followers there. She grinned.

"Nice to see you bitch." She spat.

"Listen, I'm sorry for earlier just leave me alone." I said turning away.

"HA. Yeah. Right." She said as she snapped her fingers. Her friends rushed out and pinned me on my knees. I hissed in pain and looked up and Emma.

"Let. Me. Go!!!" I said. She smirked.

"Sure. After I'm done" she said kicking me in the face. She grabbed my hair and punched me in the nose. I fought back, grabbing her by her hair and flinging her off me.

"Please. You've caused enough damage. What did I ever do to you??" I yelled at her.

"YOU STOLE MY BEST FRIEND" She screamed again, crying. She threw a rock and me and it hit me in the gut.

"I'm... Sorry....." I mumbled before I blacked out.

I awoke in my bedroom where my father was mumbling to himself. He saw I was awake.

"You were close to turning there. Thank god Dynamic brought you back." My father spoke to me. That didn't make sense. Dynamic was missing too. I would've questioned, but my whole face felt swollen. Then, the burning started. And the ache.

I screamed as the pain was to much. I yelled and cried and begged for someone to help. My mother left the room as my father did too. The pain was over bearing. I slowly closed my eyes and darkness came.

I awoke a brand new girl. My vision was perfect. No, beyond perfect. My hair was now red and straight and I was tall and strong. My teeth were pointy and my speed was fast. I grinned at myself in the mirror. I was perfect. I looked at my mother and she smiled at me. I sighed and thought

" If only Iris was a vampire."

"She's not, but she's a werewolf." My father informed me. I was surprised.

"I said that out loud?"

"Yes. Yes you did. I hurt treated Iris actually. "

"WAIT WHAT? WHERE IS SHE" I yelled.

"Calm down. She's at a pack. She's fine." My father chuckled. I clenched my jaw.

"I want to see her."

" You can't. I'm sorry." My father apologized. I thought about what Emma said

"You stole my best friend."

Oh. Yeah. That's right, Iris and Emma used to be best friends, until I came and she hung out with me. Iris was just being nice. She tried to hang as a three group, but then Emma lied and said Iris slept with her bf. Which, Iris didn't do, Iris is a virgin still!!! Then Emma yelled and me when I comforted Iris, and said I was a slut who's lesbian. Which I'm not. Not anything against them, I'm just not one. After that, Emma was kinda a sore subject. She became a slut who slept with everyone and ruled the school. Me and Iris just wasted away into our own group. We were happy that way. Until now..
