Chapter 3

"She's probably dead. Lets throw her back in the water" I heard someone say.

"No, she still has a pulse, step away, I'll try doing CPR" I heard and I snapped back to reality, I opened my eyes and started coughing up water.

I saw at least 6 men stand before me. They were all handsome, then I remembered they were pirates.

"Thats disgusting, she needs to clean the floor up" the one with the eyepatch said, he was wearing a black overcoat.

"Stop, your going to scare her" The one with the dark, mocha colored skin said.

"Everyone is scared of Eduardo" the one with blonde hair said.

"Ha! Ha! Welcome to the Sirius" an older man in his 30's said, he was wearing a long red coat and a hat with feathers that made me assume he was the captain.

"H-hello" I said, startled to realize that my mermaid tail had completely vanished.

"What's your name?" A boy around my age with reddish hair asked.

"It's Skye".

"Welcome Skye" The captain said.

"This here is Eduardo, he's the navigator" he pointed to the man with the eyepatch.

"This is Russell, he's a two-sword fencer" he pointed to the blonde haired one.

"This is Christopher, the doctor of the ship" he pointed to the one with Mocha colored skin.

"This is Thomas, he's the rookie, he joined the crew just last year" he pointed to the red haired boy.

"This is Nathan, the chef" he pointed to a man who hadn't said a word and was wearing a bandana and had brown hair sticking out from under it.

"And I'm Captain Morgan, the Pirate King".

They were all handsome..they looked as if they were in their 20's except for the Captain and Thomas. I was a bit shy around guys because I hadn't exactly had a boyfriend yet.

"Can you please take me home, I live in the island, Equinox" I asked the captain.

"Not at the moment. I'm afraid Equinox is too far off of our route" the captain said. "How exactly did you end up in the ocean?"

I struggled to come up with a lie.

"I was, uh, fishing and I got caught in the storm"

The men just stared at me for a while and went back to doing whatever they were doing before I ended up here.

"Skye, I need to talk to you" Captain said.

"Ok.."

The captain came close to me.

"We don't exactly have a spare room 'fer ya so you will hafta share a room with one of the men".

"Umm.." I was a bit startled at this and I tried to choose wisely until I just blurted out a random name "Uhhmm Eduardo"

"Alright, Yo Eduardo!" Captain called Eduardo.

"Aye?" he replied.

"You and Skye are going to share a room, show her around" Captain said and left.

"What the hell, why me.." Eduardo looked shocked but then glared at me for a bit

"If were going to share a room, don't do anything stupid or I'll feed ya t' the sharks" he said and signaled me to follow him.

His room was bigger than I would've imagine a ship room to be. I was terrified to see that there was only one bed. 'Are we going to have to sleep together?!' I thought.

"I'll sleep on the floor and you'll sleep on the bed" Eduardo said, as if he had read my mind.

"How did you- It's written all over your face.." Eduardo interrupted before I could finish my sentence.

I suddenly realized that Eduardo had given up his bed for me, maybe he was secretly a sweet guy? I couldn't sleep at all that night. I missed my family and I couldn't exactly leave because then I wouldn't know my way back through huge ocean, I guess I'll just have to wait until they take me back to Equinox.

I just wrote 3 chapters in one day ^o^...My fingers hurt, I think I'll take a break. I tried hard on this chapter. Hope you liked it:)
