It was early morning for the Weasley household. With Hope sleeping soundly in her room–though that we normally unheard of(she was a rowdy baby)– Eleanor had finally gotten caught up on some much needed sleep.

Snuggling into the knitted quilt and freshly cleaned sheets, she smiled contently in her shared warm bed. Turing over and laying her arm out, she expected to rest her arm on her husband– not a pillow.

A disheveled Eleanor Lupin-Ross Weasley carefully maneuvered her way out of her comfy haven and placed her unclothed feet on the cold wooden floor.

Quickly slipping on some of her knitted, burgundy socks, Ellie opened her door quietly and slowly walked through the apartment (so as to not wake up Hope.)

Making her way to the kitchen and family
room, Ellie stopped and stood as to take in
the delicious smell wafting out of the kitchen.
She was forced out of her trance by
the babbling of a certain little brown haired
baby.

Smiling, Ellie made her way
fully into the kitchen, seeing her husband
holding her daughter on his hip and cooking.
It was a common occurrence, yet it
didn't seem uncommon to find the two doing something together.

"Morning." Ellie spoke quietly, nearly
scaring the ginger and making the little baby laugh.

"Merlin, Ellie." Fred laughed, bouncing the now babbling baby on his hip. He cringed in pain slightly with Hope suddenly grasped some of his hair. Eleanor chuckled, making Hope believe it would be fun to grab her father's ear as well.

"Oh, come on, Hopey!"
Fred cried dramatically, attempting to get his hair and ear out of little Hope's iron grip.
" I thought we had a deal! Who's side have you chosen, daughter o' mine! Not the evil Ellie!"

Ellie quickly joined in on the dramatics, swooping into tickle Hope's neck and up and down Fred's sides.

"Uncle! Uncle!"
Fred cried, laughing through the slight pain of fingers digging into his skin.

"Ankle!"
Hope yelled giddily, clapping her hands together as she yelled her interpretations of 'Uncle.'

Ellie pulled Hope out of Fred's arms as he finished cooking. Placing her in a muggle highchair as she continued her rambling.

Fred grabbed the plates of food and turned to the table. When he saw his beautiful wife and rowdy little daughter he couldn't help but smile. For this woman had chose to share her life and heart with him. For the love they shared and the light of their life being born. He couldn't believe this was his life ; that they were his family.

And Merlin, he wouldn't change any of this for the world.
