Donut Love

Chapter 4

Today is my first day of training, I was so excited and nervous. I got dressed and grabbed my black veil brides bag which had a spare shirt and my phone and stuff, I was ready to leave I got in the car and went to the donut shop. As soon as I walked in I saw tommy at the register ringing someone up so I waited quietly. After he had the person rung up he saw me out of the corner of his big blue eyes, he turned and stared at me with a large smile on his face.

He walked over to me and said, hey Ja'Cynthia ready for your first day of training with awesomest person in the world? I laughed and smiled at him, staring in his eyes. I felt happy inside like my heart was skipping some beats when he was near me, but it was racing. We started making a mocha swirl coffee the first one I made was a huge mess and the second one was a little better. After a while of making coffees I started making sandwiches and I thought making coffee was hard I was totally wrong, sandwiches took me "FOREVER". Tommy kept laughing when I got mad because I messed up, in my head mostly what I was thinking about was "wow, tommy has the cutest laugh ever, and the best smile. That smile was like a sound of sunshine during the summer, even when he wasn't laughing I heard it in my head and it made me smile even more. After a few hours of working the different stations we finally go to take a little break, he asked me if I wanted a coffee while we were on break but, I declined the offer with a sweet smile. We walked outside to the parking lot into the beating sun. There wasn't many customers in the middle of the day so we had time to relax an take a deep breath, and trust me it was very needed. Tommy started asking about my family and why I wanted to work at a slow donut shop, but I just told him it was because it gets me out of the house and it looked easy at first. He laughed when I said that. Then he asked if I was gunna go to college to get a better job like become a teacher, "ewww" I said I wouldn't even make a good teacher I'm done with school and never wan to step foot in one again but that was after I had just graduated not long before this day.
