Christopher's P.O.V

"Are you out of your mind?!?!" I almost yelled.

"I'd like to think so, yes." He replied calmly.

I was sitting in a chair in front of his desk in an office I had been accustomed to ever since I was a boy. I'd ran through here, played here and sat at many meetings with him.

"Why the hell can't you just march up there and get her!? I refuse to be bait!" I yelled again.

He sits there as calm as ever, his expression never changing. It's been the same face he's been making ever since my mom and little sister was murdered.

"You do as your told. Not the other way around." He replied as if it were that simple.

"I refuse to do any-" he cuts me off mid sentence.

"Have you forgotten who's father it was that killed your mother and your sister or is that not important to you anymore." He said instead of asked.

My face clenched at him mentioning my sister, it was his fault what had happened to her.

"Last I checked YOU were the one who killed my sister! You sick fuck!" I stood up and yelled at him.

He just grinned and had that blank look in his eyes as if he's reliving the moment. I hated what he was making me do for him.

"This isn't open for discussion. Do as your told." His calm tone was starting to piss me.

"YOR PROMISED ME MY MATE!" I growled even louder and flipped his desk over.

He simply laughed and before I knew it I was being held by my throat against the wall, trying to fight him off but to my avail he was unfazed.

"You will do as your told. No question. No accusations. No threats. Remember I didn't have to keep you or take her for you all those years ago, it was only by your request." He said calmly. AGAIN!

"You kept her for four years!!! That wasn't part of the deal! You were supposed to bring her to me!! NOT ALLOW ME TO SEE HER WHEN YOU FELT IT WAS CONVENIENT!" I yelled.

He threw me out the door and stood over me with his foot on my chest, applying pressure. As if I'm just nothing.

"You have a job to do and I expect it to be done." Was all he said before kicking me and walking into his office.

"Yes father." I said sternly before spitting blood from my mouth.

I walked through the halls into my room where I changed into swimming trunks, a pair of old shoes, a tank top, grabbed a towel, my keys and headed to the the beach house where I knew they were. I pulled up and took a deep a breath before getting out of the car and up the stairs where they were all sitting, having fun. Then I saw her, on his lap. Anger surged through me but I let it go. I have something to do.

"Hey everybody, what's up?" I said casually as if they didn't want me dead and as if the feeling wasn't mutual. At least to my father it was.

The next thing I new Alex lunged towards to me only to have Erin hold me back.

"Christopher run!!" She yelled.

I wasn't going to back down. I was sent here on a mission and for my mate and I wasn't leaving until I got it.

"My father sent me here to give you a sort of proposition." I said as calm as I could.

"What does he have to do with this? Look just go!!" Erin yelled at me.

"Whatever you have to say doesn't interest us. Go while you have a chance." Jay said.

I have them all a sly grin. They had no idea what was about to happen. Things were going to change for the better.

"You'll want to hear this." I said cockily.

"We don't give a sh-" Erin's sister Asia didn't get to finish.

"My father is Clayton." I said smiling at all their shocked expressions.

"WHAT DID HE JUAT SAY!?" Marie yelled.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Tyler and Max yelled.

"I don't care! I'm going to kill him!" Alex yelled.

Erin looked beyond angry.

"Now that I have your attention. Let's talk." I said cooly and taking a beer.
