I fling my body upwards, my eyes dart to the clock next to my bed. I grab it and hold it close to my face.

"Holy shit! I slept for six hours!" I jump up, but as soon as I do I feel a sharp pain in my leg. "Ahh!" Falling hard, I hit the ground with a thud. I grab my leg, blood spreading through the small cloth. I slowly stand not putting practically any pressure on my sore leg. I limp over to my closet, pulling out an emergency kit. Callie always makes sure that there is one in every room in case of situations like this.

Pulling out the bandages and wrap, I clean the gash and wrap it up again. Once I get Callie she will stitch it up for me, but for now I will have to leave it the way its is. I stand up and walk over to my closet, pulling out my maroon ripped skinny jeans, cropped black long sleeve, and pairing it with my black knee high lace up boots.

I take a look at the mirror, "This look is perfect for rescuing your best friend from kidnappers!" I smirk at my remark.

Wandering down the hall to the kitchen, I look for my phone. I search the hallway floor but there is no sign of it, going to the kitchen I look near the fridge. There is still no sign of it anywhere, I walk to the bathroom thinking that it might have fallen out of my pocket when I was, well, puking.

My eyes widen and I remember exactly where left it."The car!" I sprint to the car, almost ripping the door off the hinges. My phone is my life, I can not live without it.

I see my black phone case laying in the seat, I grab it and flip it over calling the one person I never wanted to talk to again. My brother, David. I never knew he existed until I was about seventeen. I'm nineteen right now. It probably doesn't sound that bad that I didn't know he was alive but he knew about me. David is now twenty one, and he has known about me since he was only five years old. David was only two when I was born and five when our parents died in the fire. You can't just forget about your sister, it's just not possible.

I dial his number, hearing the ringing of the phone. "Come on David. Please pick up the phone." I sighed into the phone. Dropping it into my lap, not wanting to bother with calling him again if he didn't pick up the first call.

But as soon as I decide that it was no use, my phone lights up. I see david's name flash across my screen, along with the red and green buttons. I hesitated, not knowing if I should pick up, but then I remembered Callie.

"Hello?" I spoke slowly into the phone.

"Is this Eliana?" His voice came echoing through my speakers,

"Yes."

"Goodbye." And then came the dial tone.

I slide the key into the ignition, hearing the rumble of the engine. Backing out of the driveway and driving down the road towards David's house. Stopping at a red, I plug my phone into the AUX cord, I hit shuffle on my music. Hearing it come through my speakers, I sing along.

Looking for David's street, I turn down his road. Finding hs tan, two-story house amongst the others. Pulling into his paved driveway I see him standing on the porch, smoking a cigarette. I open the car door and step out, leaning on the door.

"You know those aren't good for you." I smirk.

"Ya well neither is jumping off a building but you still do it." He gives me a wide smile, showing off all his perfectly straight teeth.

"Don't you just love our lovely sibling talk. I think it's quite amusing." I close my car door and saunter over to him. I make my way up the porch stairs and lean on the railing next to him.

"Why did you come here Eliana?" His eyes shift over to me.

"Callie's been kidnapped." I look down at the railing, not wanting to face him.

"By who?" His voice is low and quiet. I turn my head and place my hand on his shoulder.

"Well thats the catch, I don't actually know who took her. I just know the plate number of the car." I hand him the license plate. "Just look this up and find out what you can." I give him a small smile, I've never felt completely comfortable around him. I have always thought that it was because I never knew him until I was about seventeen but, I just haven't felt at ease while I'm around him.

"Find out what you can? I am the best computer hacker that has ever lived. No one is better than me!" He chuckles while staring at the number. "Wait, are you sure this is the right number?"

"Callie's the best hacker." I state "And ya of course! I know I was a little out of it but I could still read." I stare at him waiting for a snide response. I touch his arm. "David, what's wrong with the plate number?" My voice is slow and uneasy. "David... What's wrong with the number."

"I don't want to make you more worried than you already are, but, I've seen this plate number before..."

I pull David so he's facing me, "What do you mean you've seen this plate number before? You never leave this house! How could you!" David hides his face and pulls away from my grasp. "David! Answer me!"

"You're not ready." He walks towards the screen door, his posture showing dominance.

"David. Don't just tell me something like that and then no..."

"ELIANA! ENOUGH!" His voice stops me mid sentence, echoing through my mind. "You're not ready. Therefore you won't be able to handle it." His fingers wrap around the door handle, pulling it open. "Just go home Eliana. Callie will come back when she can."

"When she can? I won't just let her sit there, suffering. What if they're torturing her David?" I let a few tears escape my eyes, feeling them slide down my cheeks. I pull my hands to my face wiping them away. "Well!" I won't let my voice tremble, I keep it sharp and stern.

"You heard me." He took the last few steps into the house before shutting the door. The click of the locks rang through my ears. I've grown to know that sound well, so well that I'm starting to love it when people lock me out.

"Fine!" I yell, knowing he can hear me."I will just have to do it myself then." I turn on my heels and strut down the steps heading for my car. Starting it and speeding away, not wanting to be there anymore.

I make it home, park the car and shut the engine off.

"I can't believe him!" I feel the palms of my hands slam down on the steering wheel, screaming at the top of my lungs. "He's such a fucking piece of shit!" I grip the steering wheel, my knuckles turning white.

Pulling the keys out of the engine I swing open the door, slamming it shut. "I'm so done with him!" Screaming I kick the door open, the doorknob going through the wall. "Fuck." I pull the doorknob out of the wall and inspect the damage. "Callie is not going to be happy about that..."

I walk into my room, pushing the door open. Throwing myself on the bed, feeling gravity itself pushing down on my body. "I can not believe he treated me like that. I know we have our problems but damn, he wouldn't even help me. I'm his sister for christ sakes." I pull my phone out of my pocket, staring at the black screen. "It wouldn't hurt to maybe, just maybe, teach him a little lesson." I smirk as I unlock my phone and open up the phone keypad. Dialing the police station's number, that is right down the road from David's place.

"Hello, California Police Station! What may we help you with?"

"I know where David Carter is."

"Could you give us his location Miss?"

"72 OakLand Street."

I hang up the phone, walking out of the house I drive to the nearest payphone. Sticking a quarter in the slot, I pick up the phone and dial David's number.

"Hello?"

"The police are on there way David."

"Eliana? What did you do!"

I hang up the phone, knowing very well that David won't have enough time to leave.
