A/N Harry lives in a house with his family for this story. Yes, they have a boat, but they won't live on the boat. Warning in advance, this might be triggering. There is going to be domestic violence in this chapter but not too detailed. I made a line where you could skip the violence section if you wanted and where you could start reading again. You've been warned.

For two weeks Uma ignored Harry. Every attempt at getting close to her was met with her either going the other way or her shoving him and shouting for him to leave her alone. It was really starting to get to him. He never had a problem with getting a girl to talk to him before, yet the one he wants to be in his face won't even let him get a word out.

He didn't know what to do. If he was a person who gave up, he would've given up by now. Harry sighed as he walked into his house.

"Harry! Is that you?" He heard his father ask and he winced. Harry hoped that his father wasn't in one of his drunken moods before he went to see where he was.

"Yeah it's me." Harry walked into the kitchen seeing that there were 3 empty beer bottles by a sad looking Captain Hook drooped on the ground.

"Good, I need you to get me another beer," his dad pointed weakly to the fridge then set his hand back by his side.

Not wanting to get on his bad side, he grabbed the beer and handed it to him. His dad sat up and grabbed the beer. "You know, I used to be a feared man." He gripped his son's arm hard.

Harry gritted his teeth but didn't move in fear of getting hurt more, "Yes, dad, you were one of the scariest villains alive."

"WERE?!" His father shouted and Harry widened his eyes at his mistake. Before he could fix his mistake, his dad went for his neck with his hooked hand. "I believe I still am." Captain Hook dragged the Hook from his neck to the center of his chest leaving a trail of blood behind it.

"Yes, Dad, yes you are still the scariest man alive!" Harry confirmed while he hoped his dad would let him go.

"Sir..." Harry heard as he turned to see Smee walk into the kitchen. He let out a breath of relief as he noticed his dad grip on his arm loosened as his da got distracted.

With that distraction he loosened himself from his dad's grip and turned and ran. "Get back here boy!" He heard and a crash sounded beside his head. His dad had thrown one of his empty beer bottles near his head.

Harry didn't turn back, he ran. He didn't stop running until he ran into someone. HARD. They both fell to the ground.

"What the hell?!" He heard Uma shout. "Watch where you are going!" Uma was too busy brushing off the dirt off of her to realise who ran into her. "What is your dama--" Uma cut herself off when she saw Harry on the ground with his hand on his neck. Harry looked and he knew his eyes were glistening.

"Hiya Uma," He said with the fakest smirk on his face. He knew it didn't reach his eyes but he didn't want Uma to see him break.

Uma looked at his eyes and automatically knew something was wrong. She looked to where he had his hand and saw that blood was dripping from it. "What happened to you?" She crouched down to him and tried to move the hand he had on his neck so she could see what happened.
