Hayden's pov.
I woke up laying next to the kids. Hayley was hugging me, I laughed and got up. Jimmy, hunter and the parents were gone. So it was just me, ans, Kenz and Hayley. I woke up Annie and that woke kenzie up because they were leaning on each others shoulders. Hayley was asleep so I picked her up and carried her down to the cafeteria. I wanted to ask Annie out. It's all dylan, Maddie, and Caleb ever talked about. I'm sure Dylan and Caleb would be proud of me if I got the guts to ask Annie out. We all sat down at a table in the corner. Hayley was asleep in my arms and annie went up to get breakfast.
Hayden. Hey Kenz?
Kenz. Yeah?
H. Do you think I should ask Annie out?
K. OMG YES!
H. Ok shhh.
K. Are you really going to?!
H. I really want to. I really like her.
K. Then do it!
H. but I think it might not be the right time. Like. All our siblings just passed away.
K. So I'm not saying that the fact they passed away is good but if you asked her out now it would be perfect. We all want you guys to be together. Even the parents. So if you guys dated then Annie would always have someone to lean on and cry with, because you know how it feels because you are going through it with her.
H. Thanks Kenzie.
K. No problem.
Annie walks back to the table and sits down.
A. Hayden can you wake hayley up.
H. Sure. Hayley!
HL. Hmmmmm
A. You gotta wake up sis.
HL. ok
Hayley gets up and walks over to the open seat by Annie.
H. Hey uh, Annie?
A. Yes?
H. Can I talk to you.
A. Hayden your scaring me.
H. Don't be scared I just want to ask you something....
A. Ok..
I get up and annie follows me to the hallway.
A. So, what's up?
H. I want to say. I really like you. I have for a long time ago. You have always been my bestfriend and for that reason I'm pretty sure you don't like me back becasue I've always JUST been your friend Annie I really do love you.
I say that really fast and annie just stares at me and smiles.
H. What's that look?
A. Hayden I love you too.
H. Woah. Really?!
A. Yes of course. I have for a really long time.
H. Annie, will you be my girlfriend?
A. Yes yes yes!!!
Annie jumps into my arms and I hug her tighter then I have hugged anyone else before. She smiles at me.
A. Hayden, I'm so happy that you feel the same why I do. I thought that you thought of me as a sister.
H. I did. At one point. But now I relaize that I don't love you that way. I love you as my girlfriend not my sister.
A. We should go back to Kenzie and Hayley.
We walk back to the table and sit down. Annie looks down then up at me. I blush like crazy. Ugh why do I have to blusshhh????!!!!! Kenzie looks at me and squeals.
K. DID YOU ASK HER?!
H. Yes
K. WELL DID SHE SAY YESSS?!?
H. Kenz, she's right here, smiling, looking down and blushing like crazy. What do you think?
K. YESS!!!! FINALLY! Everyone knew you two liked eachother. I guess it just took you two a while to realize it.
H. Well I'm happy we did.
A. Me too
K. Omg this is goalllssss!!!!!

HL. I will tell you once. I'm 9. Not stupid. I'm also not blind. A lot of people think I'm stupid. The people at my school think I'm dumb. But I'm not. I think way more than I speak. I see lots of things people don't think I see. And know more than you think I do. Now that calebs not here to defend Annie from anyone that tries to break her like Brennan or Luke, so it's my job now. And if you ever hurt or even think about hurting her than you will be hurting way more than she will.
A. Hayley chill.
HL. No I'm not gonna chill. I told you. I'm not JUST a little kid. I know about this world. I know what goes around us. People don't see the depression that people have when they walk right by us. Annie your friend liv. When Luke hurt her. She was depressed no one could tell but me. I tried to help her but mommy told us to stay away from her. And whenever I brought her up I was ignored. And you know what happened after. She killed herself. Because of a boy. And if I found out Annie has even thought about harming herself. And find out it's becasue of you. Then you might as well consider yourself broken. You won't be coming near Annie again. Cause if I lose another sibling. Then jimmy and hunter will too.
H. Hayley. I promise to never hurt Annie, I promise never to harm Annie. Or even think about breaking up with her. And with that big of a threat. I promise never ever to even disagree with her.
A. Hayden really. Just say you won't. Don't be all scar d of her please
H. Well. WHAT DO I DO NOW!! I can't disagree with Annie but if I do Hayley is gonna kill me.
HL. Agree with her.
H. Ok. Hayley I won't.
HL. Good.
How intense was that chapter lol. No one thought Hayley would end up being the tough one.😂
