The clicking of my heels echoes through the hall. I'm a new student at Kunugi High School, and my only friend is Jumin Han. Not that I want to be his friend or anything, just that that's an appropriate label for someone who's lived with him for three weeks.
Jumin and I are 16 years old, so that means we're going to our third year of highschool. Although Jumin's 16, he acts like a full blown adult. Since he's expected to take over his father's company, he does a lot of work even though he's still in school. Sometimes I wonder how he's even able to handle the workload of school and work.
Anyway, back to school. Since my parents were never home, I always went to school instead of ditching on my education, even though there was never anyone there to tell me to go. I was always there for myself. I helped myself with my homework, and thought to myself about how my day went at school. It wasn't all bad though~ I had a lot of friends.
Friends I left behind at my old school when my parents disappeared.
Time to make new friends, I guess.
I have my eye on Seven. Ever since he helped me the first time I met him on the street, I couldn't properly think of a way to thank him. I also got very nervous around him, which is a new thing for me. Maybe I'm just tired of being alone.
'316, 316, 316' I mumbled to myself, trying to find my English classroom. I quickened my pace once I got past the 200s. I'll be late to class if I go any slower! My heels continued clicking against the cold floor as I ran.
Click, click, click, click, thunk. I ran into something stiff.
I stumbled backward a few steps, only to be caught by a guy with strong arms. He reached out for me right before I hit the ground. Saved!
I looked up. Bright orange hair. Seven!
"S-seven! H-hi!" I forced out. I was totally stumbling over my own words. "Th-thank you for s-saving me." I blush, straightening my back. All my movements were hesitant and choppy. I felt really self conscious about everything I did, and my heart was practically beating out of my chest. I'm an idiot! I brushed myself off, and smiled awkwardly in his direction.
He quietly mumbled a response, and disappeared into the classroom to our left. I looked up at the door number.
"316!" I cheer. "I found it!" Guess I have English with Seven. Score.
When I entered the classroom, I took a seat beside him in the back of the classroom. I thought it was weird he was sitting back there, despite his extroverted personality. At least he seemed like that when he came to visit Jumin. It seemed like something was bothering him the whole period, but whenever he talked to any of my classmates or I, he acted fine. When everyone left though, he went back to being gloomy. I ended up watching him the entire period observing his weird behavior, and before I knew it, it was lunch time.
After putting my books away in my locker and heading to the cafeteria, I decided to look for Jumin. I didn't have any friends, so it's a start.
I poked my head around the cafeteria, looking near the windows, the tables in the center of the cafeteria, and even around the bathrooms. I checked outside of our school building, around the cherry blossoms, the benches, and the flowerbeds. When I was just about to give up and just eat alone, I heard a scream. I whipped my head around.
"Wha-"
"AAA! It's Jumin! He's so dreamy when he walks!" A girl began yelling.
"I love how he breathes!" Another girl.
"He looks like a royal prince!" Another.
A swarm of girls were all crowded around in one corner of the sports field. They all practically had heart-eyes! Well, I guess I found Jumin.
