My Burning Desires

A kiss..

One, a swift kick. Two, a punch in the stomach. Three, a jab with your knee. Four--
Raye disturbed my focus.
"We have Visteria coming today, they would like to make a deal with you" raye said. I pat his back.
"Good job Raye" I said, giving him a fake smile.
"Hopefully they'll back off of Nao this way" I said.
"No..you don't understand" Raye paused pushing his glasses up.
"They've come for a marriage request" raye sat down on his Victorian furniture. Glut slowly walked out ywaning, wearing Raye's shirt.
"Raye..mm..why'd you leave the bed?" He was rubbing one eye, and acting cute. I bursted out laughing, to think that Glut acted like this around Raye was just hilarious. This shocked them in two ways, one, that I found out about their relationship. And two, that I was even laughing.. I hardly ever smiled or laughed these days. Nothing was funny, nothing was great, or perfect. Nothing made me happy. Everything was dark, I couldn't grab myself. I couldn't save myself. And no one was coming to save me.
"Got over me fast ehh?" I said.
Raye blushed.
"Well, glut--glut has confessed to me many times so.. I just.." Raye mumbled. Glut was frozen with embarrassment. Raye laughed and grabbed his small body. Raye ave him a kiss.
"Ah! Don't do that if he's in here!" Glut yelled.
I was too lost in thought to make a joke, or even comment. So they're coming? For a marriage request? I don't want it. I don't want a bride.
I heard a knock.
"Glut, you should leave. You're not quite on good terms with Visteria anyway" Raye pet his head. Glut gave a sad face.
"Oi, you want me to kiss you in front of him again?" Raye asked like a pervert.
Glut quickly ran out.
Raye answered the door. Three figures beamed. All in traditional Japanese colthing.
Raye knelt.
"Princess, Yuri, king Lofaz, and humble servant of Visteria. Welcome!" Raye was speaking in the utmost respect.
"Newborn leader. We've come for your hand" Lofaz said.
"Sorry I need two, you know.." Lofaz didn't laugh at my crappy joke. Instead sat down.
"Yuri has been quite obsessed with you. She wants you. You know that right? Can't you tell by her overwhelming atmosphere?" Lofaz held a gold ring out. It had red rubies, and speckles of diamonds. Yuri seemed to be breathing heavier. As if she was in a trance. She stared at me. Intensely.
"No" I said. Lofaz slammed his old fists on the table.
"You will oblige. Or that boy will
Be killed. That little prince that you like" Lofaz, gave a sadistic smile.
My chest tightened. Kill him?
"I don't care about him" I said in my best acting voice.
"Alright, Lanzet, order squad four to take care of that prince" Lofaz said to his servant. His servant quickly picked up a phone.
"No!" I yelled.
Lofaz laughed in satisfaction,
"Great then with my daughters born abilities, and good looks.. I'm sure my grandchildren will be great ones." He pushed the ring onto my finger.
"You'll marry in two months. Every well known vampire will be there. Visteria, Kulann, Piran, Ouru, and of course the new born's.
I didn't understand why we were called the new borns.. It was before my existence was even known of. I suppose great grandfather just really liked the name 'new borns'. Our clan was the only to bring uneducated, unskilled, vampires in. I suppose that's why.
They left. Yuri's pheromones were gone. I felt the pressure of love leaving. And the pressure of a forced marriage staying. The only one it was forcing was me of course. Everyone expects me to marry a rich, beautiful, skilled wife. And have kids. To hopefully have another new born leader. I keep telling them it only happens every five hundred years but.. They don't understand. .
I heard the door creak open.
"Father said we could go out on a date. Can we?" Yuri's small voice said.

We were dressed in some of the finest kimono's I've ever seen.
Yuri held my arm, and snuggled into my chest. We walked through the small village. I was growing into myself again. Loosing hope. I wouldn't have Nao anymore. He wouldn't be my light in the darkness anymore. I had no excuses.

"Please young lord, stop running!" Erubus said.
"I will find him! I need him!" I said.
Erubus grabbed my arm. But I wasn't running anymore. I saw him. A girl wrapped into him. They were kissing. My mouth hang open.
His eyes snapped open.
"Mmf-" he pushed the girl away.
"Nao!" He yelled.
"N-no.." I whispered.
