If you were left standing there in an unknown world, not knowing what would happen next, how would you feel?

Step by step, my younger self made her way towards the extremely purple mansion at the end of the coral road. The trees were stiff, with their roots partly above ground. I had a good look around, and during this, I had tripped over one of these roots, resulting in a faceplant to the purple floor.

A rustling sound was heard behind me. But what I saw on the floor in front of me was a rising shadow, and as it rose, I realised that it was also leaning over me. I looked behind me slowly, to see a huge brown worm-like creature, with its mouth floating above my head.

I scrambled to my feet, and ran for my life, away from the brown worm. But, as anyone would expect, it followed me, with a loud screaming sound coming from its... somewhere. (I don't really know my 'parts of a worm' and especially not these types).

The only place I could run to was the mansion at the end of the road. The brown creature was surprisingly fast and was gradually catching up with me. But I was in luck, for we do a marathon every week at school, so I was prepared.

I was, at this time, just about to reach for the door of the unusual mansion, when one of the windows opened to reveal a cannon, charging up some sort of black-purple bullet at the end. And I thought things could never get weirder.

The charged shot detached from the cannon and automatically made its way towards the worm. Next thing you know, a bright light, a wrinkly hand shoving me in through the door, and a huge explosion.

I thought I was done for.
