Nadia's Point Of View
Chapter 2 - Falling For Ryder Vince
***

"Hey Nadia."

"Hi Nadia!"

"Yo, Embers!"

"Omg, love your outfit Nadia!"

All of these greetings and compliments were heard all throughout the halls. Of course I greeted them back, thanked those who gave me a compliment and gave a few compliments to others as well. But one person was waiting for me at my locker and I didn't want anything to do with him.

"Hello Nadia. You look beautiful today."

"Daxton," I growl.

He smiles sweetly at me. I snarl at him.

I glare at him before turning to my locker to put in my combination.

"What do you want Daxton?"

I thought he had walked away but a few seconds passed and he replied.

"What do I want? I want you my dear Nadia," he said in my ear while looking down at my outfit and licking his lips.

I shivered at thought of the party.

And just like I said to him that night, "No."

"No?" Daxton seemed generally surprised by this.

"No Daxton. Now leave me alone."

But of course, Daxton Clint never listens to orders or rules. He breaks them.

Licking his lips once more, his eyes roaming my body and he nods. Then pushes himself off of the locker next to mine and walks away.

I stood there, paralyzed, looking at the spot where he was standing only moments ago. He actually listened. He finally left me alone. Oh thank you so much.

"Nadia?" a voice comes from behind me, making me jump.

I turn around so that I'm face to face with the person who scared me.

Ethan Kline. Of course, Daxton's best friend. The younger brother of Matthew's girlfriend, Adalyn Kline.

This morning just keep getting better and better. Doesn't it?

Oh shut up you stupid sarcastic thoughts.

I roll my eyes at the agrument I was having with myself in my head.

Ethan though took that as a way of me saying that I was annoyed by his presence. Which the eye roll wasn't even meant for him. Although I am highly annoyed and bothered at his presence.

"What do you want Ethan? To annoy me even more than your friend did?"

"Nope," he says, popping the 'p'.

"Well. Then what do you want?" I ask once more, slightly confused.

"I was supposed to give you this," he shows me a note. "But since you're being a naughty little girl. I won't give it to you."

He smirks after he finishes talking. The sly, cocky smirk that gets me annoyed faster than people who purposely walk slow. His green-hazel eyes sparkling with mischief. I know what game he is playing. And since he wants to play a game. I'll play, just a different game.

"Oh? I was being a little naughty wasn't I?" I say with a soft and flirtatious voice.

"Yes, you were. And you know, that shouldn't go unnoticed," he says with a deep voice.

Barf.

"Well then," I start to say, steppibg closer to him and putting on of my palms on his chest. "What can I do to fix my mistake?"
