Chapter 59- He won't see her...

Paul's POV

“My son loves your daughter,” Katherine says, cutting her eyes between Tatiana's parents. “I know it.”

“Katherine…” Daniel sighs, shaking his head. “Your son has done enough damage.”

“He told me that he loves her,” Eva interjected. “We know he'd be he--"

"If he knows what is good for him, I wont let his sorry--"

“Your damn right. He's already practically killed her and when I see him... I'll-“  Daniel cuts himself off, remembering the parents and siblings of whom he was about to curse out is in the same room. He clears his throat. “I wouldn’t let him anywhere near this hospital.”

"He's trying to come home. He needs to see Tati....." Katherine says.

"Hell no!" Daniel snaps.

Tatiana's POV

"You what?" I whisper my voice shaking.

"I-I love you...." he whispers. "I'm in love with you Tatiana Yvonne Thumbtzen."

I lay there staring at him. He hurt me so bad. He put me through hell and now he says he loves m--..

"I know I hurt you Tatiana...really bad." he cries. "And it took for this to happen to realize how much I love you, which is..." his voice breaks off as tears fill up in his brown eyes.

"Michael....." I whisper gently brushing a tear that was going down his face. "I have to tell you something..."

"What?" he whispers through his cries.

"I love you too."

Daniel's POV

"But he loves her...." Eva says staring me down. "You know it would be unfair..."

"If he loved her he would be here! And we don't know if he does or not!" I yell. "It wouldn't make a difference anyway!"

"I know because he told me, Daniel!" she says. Everyone stares up at her.

"You talked to Michael?" Katherine asks but I immediately cut her off.

“Why’d you call him?” I ask, walking closer to my wife.

“He called.”

“Why?” I hiss.

“What’s up with all the questions? What do you think?” Eva asks. “He’s concerned.”

“What gives him the right to be concerned, or even be calling?”

“He loves her, Daniel.” Eva mutters.

"You don't believe that." I retort.

"I do." Eva snaps back.

“Him throwing her off the tour tells me otherwise.” I glare at her. “If he loves her, then he wouldn’t have done that. He shouldn’t have called her every name in the book, trashed her at the Grammy's and that after party and who knows what else! Oh yes, that's right....GET HER PREGNANT!"

"He did what?" Joseph says standing up slowly looking at Katherine who looks away.

"My son, got Tatiana pregnant?" he says. I nod and he looks at Katherine.

"When the hell did this happen?!" he yells.

"A couple of months ago...." Katherine says quietly. "Tatiana told me....."

"AND OUR OWN SON DIDN'T? IS ANY OF THAT MAKING SENSE TO YOU?"

“He doesn't know.” Eva interjects quietly. “This is his responsibility. None of this wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t fire her. Tati wouldn’t be in a coma if he didn’t fire her. Tatiana wouldn’t have lost their baby if Michael didn’t fire her.”

"Which is why he won't be coming anywhere near my daughter." I say sharply.

“No one on that tour wants anything to do with him right now, Daniel. He just realized he made the biggest mistake of his life, and because of that Tati almost got herself killed, and they lost already their child. There’s no one there for him right now! He needs someone to be there for him, to assure him that this is going to get better!”

“No,” I shake my head. “No, Eva. That’s karma for his ass. That’s what he gets for being a coward. He’s twenty-nine years old, for heaven’s sake! Let him suffer, or I will personally fly to Canada or where ever the hell that tour is and kick his ass myself.” I say sitting down.

“And the minute the would find out she was pregnant; he’d throw her off the tour anyway.”

“No he wouldn’t. We both know how much he wanted to be a father.” Eva says softly. "Michael would be even more crushed than he already is..."

“I’m aware!” I hiss back. “Think about everything he just put our daughter through. He deserves it.”

"And I would have made sure he would have stepped the hell up!" Joseph says. Everyone turns and looks at him surprised.

"I thought you hated Tati...." Eva says sharply.

"I thought I did too...but then I saw how much Michael cared about her, and when he stood up to me...." he shrugs a little. "I knew she had to be special."

So the old slimebag does have a heart.

"He's willing to pay for Tati's hospital bill..." Eva says speaks up ridding the awkward silence in the room.

“Then let him do it. And when it’s done, you still give him the silent treatment.” Paul says walking in angrily.

“That’s rude! He’s paying it with his own money!” Eva says staring at him.

"Then I'll pay for it! I don't want him around her!" he yells.

"Paul I know your upset about Tatiana....she's your best friend..." Eva starts.

"NO! You guys don't get it do you?! I'm in love with her!"

The room goes into a shocked silence and full of stares at Paul.

"Y-you what?" I say. As soon as I do, machinery goes off like crazy causing us to jump. A nurse walks in.

"She just needs a new IV bag." she assures us. We all relax our bodies a little.

"D-does she..." Eva starts to say and Paul shakes his head.

"I never told her." he says quietly sitting down staring at Tatiana.

Michael's POV

"TATIANA!" I shout sitting up in bed breathing heavily. I put my head in my hands and closes my eyes.

It was a nightmare....

I tiredly rubbed my temples. I haven't slept for days...all I think about and dream about is Tatiana. My Tatiana....the one person who loved me, and I hurt.

I stare in my lap and the phone rings. I sigh and picks it up.

"Hello?" I say hoarsely.

"Michael?" a soft voice says on the other line.

"Winnie?" my heart pounds. "I-Is everything okay?"

"Michael...we need to talk." she says softly.

So...I relaxed a bit. I'm somewhat pissed still...but I'm not going to stress about it.

So what will Winnie tell Michael? Who's love will prevail? Michael or Paul?
