Hidden Angels

The Beginning

"Mya?!" I turned around to see that my best friend Serenity was running towards me in excitement. "Mya where the hell have you been?" she asks. Hell, I don't even know how to answer or how to react. I was at a party with Serenity, we got separated somehow and then some freak accident happened. I was pretty sure that I was DEAD. "Honestly, I don't even know myself! But, I'm so glad to see you." I pulled her close and gave her the biggest bear hug. Pieces of her long Remy bundles of hair, tickled my face. Me and Serenity were like the baddest females at Morrison College. From our hair, nails, down to the new shoes we'd wear everytime a sexy pair came out. Serenity pulled away from me, "Mya? Do you remember anything from Saturday night?" Before I could answer a strange feeling came over me. "Ren we've gotta get inside!" I grabbed her wrist and try to run with her but she stops me. "Mya what's wrong you!" She gives me this look as if I were the one that's insane. "Do you not hear that rain and-" before I could finish my sentence it began to pour down rain, lightening strikes. "Lighting." I said finishing my sentence. The lighting strikes a tree near by and before it falls Serenity steps out as if she were going to help the cars coming towards it, from her foot the ground cracks and suddenly opens. The humongous tree falls between the cracks. Right as the tree fell, I grabbed her by her wrist again and we began running. We ran to the dormitory and into our dorm room. "Mya what just happened?" she looks at me in confusion. Before I could answer, that weird feeling came over me again. Someone was coming, I felt them coming wihtout hearing it, I felt the vibrations of their foot steps on the solid floor outside of our dorm room. I felt their presence seeking us. I quickly locked the door. "Mya?!" the footsteps came closer, and closer. I felt them coming very close and approaching our door but instantly disappeared. Suddenly I didn't feel anything, the feeling I felt completely went away. "Mya?" Serenity said in an uneasy voice. "Mya, I'll just tell you what I remember... We were partying, two older guys seemed to have been stalking us that whole night! That's when we split up and never made it back to each other until now and all I remember after that was... Dying." I looked at her and felt myself becoming stressed out over the situation and a little tense. "Yeah me too" I replied. I grabbed my bag from by my bed, "I'm going to class." Before leaving I didn't even look at Serenity, I quickly left. I know me acting like this doesn't help the situation, but after having those weird feelings coming over me repeatedly and not understanding what's going on... I'd rather be alone and try not to remember.
