Dinner...

Kelsey POV:

So we just got seated. Ro's sitting next to me and Chris is on the other side. He tried to make me sit on the side with his mother but I refused. We still waiting on her btw.

"Hey babies sorry I was late traffic." Joyce said kissing Chris and Ro on their heads.

"It's cool we just got seated." Chris said looking at Ro color.

"Hello Kelsey." Joyce smiled.

"Hi." I said looking at the menu I felt something press my clit hard.

"Mmmm." I moaned in satisfaction and looked at Chris.

"Something look good on the menu Kel." Chris stared at me intensely then shifted his head over to his mom. Like really he could've just texted me and said talk to his mom not be doing inappropriate shit even though I liked it but still Ro was right next to me.

"How are you doing Joyce?" I asked dryly.

"Great and please call me mama Joyce since your dating my son." She said.

"I'd rather not, I don't think we're on that level yet." I said I can't be sitting here acting fake.

"Ok y'all I love you mom and I really want to be with you Kelsey. Ro put in your headphones real quick please baby." Chris asked sweetly and Ro did what she was told.

"Alright mama you need to fucking apologize what you said was wrong and Royalty literally had to pray for her and told her if she couldn't have kids she would still have her. You can't just say shit out the side of ya mouth not thinking. You don't know shit about her. And Kelsey I know my mom said some fucked up shit but you can't be rude because if she didn't have me me and you wouldn't be together right now." Chris said harshly. By time he was done Joyce and I had tears in our eyes. We got up and hugged each other.

"I'm sorry baby. I should've never said anything like that to you not knowing you from a can of paint." Joyce said hugging me tightly.

"I'm sorry to mama J." I said pulling back.

"This is a fresh start on our relationship, you love my grandbaby and my grandbaby loves you so that means I love you to." Joyce said smiling.

"What about me ma?" Chris said.

"Shut up boy." Joyce said smacking Chris on his head.

"Ow ma why you did that?" Chris said rubbing his head.

"You was talking to me and Kelsey like you was crazy." Joyce smiled.

"At least I still have Ro." Chris smiled looking at Ro.

"No you don't I heard you be mean to Meme and Kelsey." Ro said.

"I thought I said put on the headphones." Chris said.

"You never said play music or anything with them you just said 'put them on". Ro said trying to make her dads deep voice. Me and Joyce busted out laughing Chris looked so dumb Ro just told him.

"Wait until we get home." Chris said looking at his food the waiter put in front of him.

"He ain't gone do nothing baby." I said putting ketchup on her plate.

"Thanks Kelsey."Ro smiled at me.

For the rest of the dinner we laughed and talked. I got to know Joyce some more. She's become my mom within the last 2 hours. Right now we're leaving because Ro fell asleep on my lap.

"Alright call me tomorrow baby." Joyce said waving.

"I will ma." Chris said.

"Wasn't talking to you Chris but you can call me too." Joyce laughed.
