Next Day..

Kelsey POV:

I got up early this morning and texted Joyce to let her know I was getting the kids today. Joyce and I don't talk as much as we used to. I think its because she's trying to give Robyn another chance. I don't have a problem with that as long as she treats my kids especially Chris Jr. right.

"Hey guys." I said answering Dave and Kairi's facetime. 

"Wassup. Hey Kel." They said.

"We was wondering if you wanted to meet us at the park." Dave smiled.

"Sure, that's good because I'm on my way to pick up Ro and Chris Jr." I said turning on Joyce's street.

"Ooouu yayy Royalty!" Kairi jumped up and down. 

"Ok I'll text you which park." Dave laughed.

"Alright." I smiled then hung up. 

I rung the door bell about 5 minutes later Joyce opened the door.

"Hey sorry for the wait I helping CJ put on his shirt." She smiled.

I cringed that she called Chris Jr.  CJ that's his fathers dick name.

"It's fine." I lightly laughed.

"Mommy!" Ro yelled holding Chris Jr's hand coming down the steps.

"Mommy mommy." Chris Jr. screamed.

"Hey my babies." I said hugging them.

"I missed you." Ro said.

"I missed you more." I kissed her forehead.

"Go head and put y'all shoes on." I said standing back up from giving a kiss to Chris.

"Kel how you been?" Joyce said pulling me into the kitchen.

"Honestly I've been feeling like shit. I don't feel like a good mother. I'm trying to forget about your son. But that's hard when he constantly leads me on then drops me. I feel like I haven't done anything in life I wanted too except have a kid. I feel like I have no purpose on this earth." I stated truthfully.

"Aww sweety first off your the best mother on the planet, maybe you just need to take a trip with Royalty and Chris somewhere and make they damn daddy pay for it. Second I love my son to pieces however, he's that individual that doesn't notice how bad he's messed up. Don't fall for anything that boy has to say. Kel I know everything is hard right now but you need to see the positives in it. I want you to be happy ok?" Joyce said. This is why I love her.

"Yes mam, I love you so much." I hugged her.

"I love you too Kel, call me to talk anytime. Well maybe not at night that's my fun time with my baby." She smiled.

"Ma that's disgusting, two older people slapping skin." 

"Girl hush just like you need to release some anger and stress I do too." She laughed.

"That's enough come on babies we leaving." I laughed.

"Love y'all." Joyce laughed.

"Love you too." We said together.

Soon as we got to the park Dave and Kairi were pulling up.

"Heyyyyyy." Royalty said running over.

"Heyyy Royalty." Kairi said hugging her.

They ran off to the sandbox and Chris Jr just stayed next to me.

"Hey little man." Dave said dapping Chris Jr up. How this little boy know how to dap someone up.
