Louis jumped out of the dark blue van , the color almost matching the lighter shade of blue hidden beneath his light blue eyes. He looked tired and scrawny with his baggy grey sweater draped on his body, though he didnt see himself as thin and emaciated like everyone else did.
He looked up ta the house, letting out a low hum before tuning in to the voice behind him. "Your father wasnt able to bring you back into Doncaster, so your mother decided to take you in" the gruff voice of his step dad spoke, making louis turn his head to the older man and nodding.
"I see,Mark, where do i put my stuff?" He moved his shoulder a bit to motion towards the black bag that held all the contents he needed. He didnt really like his step dad, usually calling him by his first name. Dont get it wrong though, Mark was better than his father but he refused to even consider calling Mark his father at this moment.
Mark pushed his wiry glasses back up his nose, sighing when the younger male didnt leave out his name. "Well, Louis, the only space we have right now is a reconstructed addition we had put into the garage. Its more like a room now. " he smiled, hoping to earn the boys' trust. Louis nodded, fidgeting with his bag to fit more comfortable where the strap lay on his shoulder.
"Sounds good." He muttered, pushing his messy styled brunette hair from his eyes once more before heading into the house, the old man following behind.
The blue eyed male took a short breath as he stepped into the living room, it smelled of newly baked apple pie and made his mouth water. He shook his head, urging the hunger to subside and smiling once it gratefully went away. He felt Marks eyes on him, observing his body, he could tell by the way the old mans breath hitched behind him that it was as though he were a malnourished and neglected puppy to care for.Mark cleared his throat, gaining the young boys attention" you can head down there if you want, i think lottie will be back soon from her friends " louis nodded, sending a short and sweet smile to his step father and walking towards the new addition of the house. A brand new beige colored door with white edges that led to the room. He sighed, pulling the door open and observing the room.
He had a tv propped up into a wooden chest, drawers filing on the front. The walls were a blue-grey with white carpet. His bed was queen sized surprisingly, with a black comforter and white sheets, pillows. It didnt seem too much like a room to him that he could decorate and decided to drop his bag beside the bed. His brain hurt, feeling as though it were pounding against his skull repeartedly with a hammer and all he wanted to do right now was sleep. He clenched his eyes, sighing as plopped down onto the confortable bed.
