OK, recipe first: this is for a cake, the best darn thing ever and sooo easy:
Pre-heat oven to 180 Celcius and prepare baking tin. (350 Degrees for those of us in the states)
1 C flour
1&1/2 tsp baking flour
pinch of salt
SIFT TOGETHER
3 lrge eggs
1 C sugar
BEAT TOGETHER
1/2 C milk
3 Tbs butter or margerine
HEAT UNTILL BUTTER OR MARGERINE HAS MELTED
Add the sifted dry ingerdients to the egg mixture until it is propperly mixed in; alternate with milk until all ingredients are mixed.
Add 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and stir until mixed.
Fill baking tin and bake for +- 45 min.
I sometimes split it in two baking tins so watch the cake. It should not be more than 30 mins then.
It tastes best just cool enough to eat with a nice cup of coffee.
I started using this recipe when I was about 8 or 9 years old. This one time my mom put her baking powder and milk powder in the same tupperware containers and I did not know the diference then so I ended up using the milk powder instead of baking powder. My final resul was the flattest cake ever, but it still tasted just as good.
