*trigger warning!!*

Jeremy whisked through the party on his way to find his best friend, Michael. On the way there, he bumped into a very drunk Christine.

"Hey, jerry! I didnt know you were here!" She slurred happily, "Did you get a drink? Let's go get a drink."

She took his hand and dragged him to a table before he could say a word.

She handed him a drink, which he took. "Hey, I know we just started talking, but i-"

"C'mon, let's go dance."
★★★
An hour had past, and Michael was no where to be seen. Jeremy had some drinks, but was barely drunk. He some how escaped out of Christine's grip, and went upstairs to the bathroom.

"I could stay right here or dissapear, and nobody'd even notice at all." A voice sang out.
Jeremy didnt have a clue of who it was, and didnt care. All he knew was that he should stand by to see if they need help

"Every thing felt fine when I was half of a pair, now through no fault of mine, there's so other half there!"

It sounds like Michael. Jeremy thought. What if it is him?

"Now I'm just Michael in the bathroom, Michael in the bathroom at a party, forget how long its been."

Surely enough, it was michael on the other side of the door.

"I am hiding, but he's out there, just ignoring all our history. Memories get erased and I'll get replaced with a newer, cooler version of me."

No, no. I won't ever replace you! I love you! Jeremy thought, panicking. I just wish you would notice that.

He walked up to the door, pounding on it.
no answer.
He knocked again.
"I'll be out soon!"
"No! Michael! Its me! Please let m-me in!" Jeremy sobbed.

he could hear shuffling through the door.
the lock clicked.
It swung open to a michael with red eyes and tear streaks down his face.
Jeremy attacked him, wrapping his arms around him, sobbing.
He gasped at his sudden movements, crying harder.
"I would never replace you, Micha. I w-would never."
Jeremy dug his head into Michaels shoulder.
"Why wouldn't you. You chose Christine, Rich, and Jake over me. I haven't gotten a single hour with you alone. I feel like, like you aren't even there. Like nothing is real."
"I-i-i've. I'm sorry. I-i didnt know. I-i can't t-tell you why i-i hang out with them all t-the time."
"WHY? AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH? THIS IS WHY I HAVE THESE.-" he pulled his sleeves up, revealing new and old thin, red lines up and down his arms. Scars. Self harm scars.
"THESE ARE BECAUSE YOU DONT HANG OUT WITH ME. THESE ARE BECAUSE YOU WERE MY ONLY FRIEND. THESE ARE BECAUSE IM NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU. I'm never good enough. I'm too fat, worry to much, laugh too much. My voice is too high. I know I'm not good enough." he broke down, falling to the floor, Jeremy's arms falling off of him. His eyes were. huge, red, and tear-filled.
I caused this. I did this.
he started to back away, then ran up to Michael, falling down to him, and hugging him. "I-ive been with t-them, because i-i was trying to f-figure out a way to, to ask you on a d-date. I-i-i, just forget it." He said, before placing his lips on Michaels. He was surprised and confused for a second, then realized what was happening. Jeremy pulled back, with his forehead on the other boys. He smiled at him.
There they were, laying on the bathroom Floor of the biggest Halloween party.

"So, I guess the backpacks were right. Jer, would you be my boyf?"

"Yes"
