The Flights

As you're sitting next to this cute girl she has been going on about going back to California. With seeing her friends and old co-workers. You really wanted to ask her if she had a girlfriend but you didn't want to come off to strong. You already loved listening to her talk about her day and experiences throughout her entire life, well the ones that she liked or either thought was funny. As that was going on other people were trying to find somewhere to sit. You didn't mind that another girl sat next to her because she didn't even look at her. She just had all her of her attention on you. You never really had that from someone it was a nice new feeling. I mean having someones full attention not worrying about anything or anyone else is such a great feeling from someone. 

With all this going on you finally noticed that a fight attend was talking about safety rules and many other things including getting drinks and things like that. Honestly you didn't care as long as you two were going to be talking. She was mostly talking about her army stories those were the most entertaining to you. She was talking about the training that they made you do. 

"The hardest thing to do when taking training was having them in the summer and winter... but for most soldiers was in the spring time having some of them being allergies. Other than that with the hard training also being weeks and months away from my friends and family it was great. Being with other people building a connection and trust with them was even better."

"That's great Sarah... You have a more interesting life than me."

"I don't think so y/n"

"I thinks so actually I've been in the same state and town my whole life but now I'm moving to California. Honestly this the only interesting happening to me."

"Well if you are going to be new to California I would like to show you around if you wouldn't mind."

"No I wouldn't honestly I was really wishing that you would say that."

"Oh well come to my place after we finish with this long flight?"

"I would really like that. I would ask if you're going to be tired when getting off this flight but with all the things that you just told me that you went through so that you wouldn't be tired." you said as you started laughing.

"Yeah I know you're going to be tired so then I'll just bring you over to my place where you could sleep until you're ready to look around California."

"Thank you so much I'm already sleepy right now. I think I'm going to be taking a nap until I need to get up."

"Okay I'll wake you up when we get there if you don't wake up in time."

"Okay thank you"

As you were about to fall asleep you thought that you were going to lean towards the window and fall asleep. Then instead you accidentally leaned over onto her. As you were about to lift your head up she then said something to you.

"I don't mind it y/n it's alright if you want to lean on me I don't really mind it."

"Okay thank you."

You then fell asleep.

As you were started getting up you heard her talking to the girl right beside her. So instead getting all the way up you just decided to keep laying on her shoulder and listen to them talk.

"Yeah it's just been tough these past few days." said Sarah

"Really you think I can help you out in any kind of way?" said the stranger

"I don't really know how you would able to help."

"I think that we could go to your place after this and maybe I could do some things for you."

"I don't think so Alex, I'm actually into this other girl and shes the only girl that I have in my eyes."

As she was saying that you were hoping so much that it was you and no someone else.

"Oh my bad I didn't know that well who is the girl?"

"Yeah it's the girl that I just met. She's so beautiful she looks a little girly but she also seems like a tomboy. She has a great smile also she's a great listener. I mean she seems like the perfect for me even if I just met her. Like I feel like I'm going to have a future with this girl."

"Wow she sounds like a keeper."

"I think she really is. She's way better than my ex girlfriend."

"How so?"

"I mean my last girlfriend would always cheat on me but I loved her so much that I didn't want to let her go, but as things went on I knew that I needed to let her go. She was just hurt to much that she thought it was right to cheat on me. Like other guys and girls that dated her and cheated on her that she thought it was a normal thing in a relationship. I don't blame her either. I've been through relationships like that but I still have enough heart. I want to find love even if I have chance to get hurt."

"That's beautiful Sarah. I hope you find someone good for you and treats you how you should be treated. You're going to be such a great girlfriend and maybe even a great mom one day."

"I hope so I want to spend the rest of my life with this girl. I don't want to hurt her in any kind of way."

As you were listening you were so moved about the things she said you started tearing up but didn't really wanted to start crying. This girl that she has eyes for is such a lucky girl and she should treat her right. You know that it couldn't be you. You thought that it was going to be someone else. You were happy for her despite the fact that it might not be you. You just wanted her to be happy like she deserves. Finally you sat up and stretched. As Sarah said something to you.

"Oh good morning y/n"

"Thanks Sarah."

"Are we almost there?"

"Yeah just a couple more minutes then we should be at Ontario airport."

"Okay good. Am I still be able to go to you're place?"

"Yeah no plans changed."

"Okay thanks I'm still kinda tired."

"Don't worry."

As the plane was landing you then started looking out the window. Finally the plane landed and you were able to get up then gather your things together. They finally let you go and leave the airplane while you were in front of her walking you felt as if someone was looking a you. You were hoping it was her and no one else. After getting out while waiting for her to get out of the tunnel to go to the baggage claim she was just smiling the whole entire way down.

"What are you smiling for?" You said while smiling

"Nothing nothing something I just heard." She said while nearly laughing

"Mhm whatever you say." 

"You ready to leave now?"

"Yes I'm really tired."

"Okay Okay lets go."

You two then started to get your luggage then she had rented a car instead of using a cab since she lives so far away. After she then grabbed all the luggage and started loading them into the car. After this you then sat in the front of the car after this she started getting in and driving. One question you had going through your mind was who was she talking about?
