Izuku was really getting tired of dealing with Kacchan. Izuku still doesn't understand why he despised him so much, for Izuku could not think of an event that would cause this hatred, he has always tried his best to help and support people. So when Izuku was walking out of school he didn't really understand why Kacchan was yelling at him. He wasn't really paying attention either, maybe something about how Izuku will never pass him? This was really getting old, he was tired of this, he just wanted to go home, have a snack and take a nap, not get yelled at by Kacchan for the billionth time.
Izuku looked up from his phone, he had been texting his mom that he was heading home. He cut him off in the middle of his yelling.
"Look, Kacchan, I thought we got past this, why are you even doing this? I feel like its wasting your energy, I know it's wasting mine. I'm already really tired, so I'm just gonna walk away. You can continue yelling but could you like, do it from here so it just slowly fades into the background as I walk away."
Kacchan just kind of looked at him, a slightly surprised but angry look on his face. Izuku really never responded to his insults in a sarcastic way, especially in a way that was slightly like backtalk.
"Well good talk. See you tomorrow." So Izuku turned around and continued to walk home as he hit send on his phone. He heard a faint "nerd" as he walked away, but he could really care less. The weather was changing yet again, leaves littered the ground in all shades of warm colors. The air was considerably less cooler now and there was a slight breeze and the sun was shining from above. It was a very beautiful day out, and as Izuku continued to walk home he would purposefully step on leaves that looked especially dry, hearing them crunch under his shoes. There were a few puddles from a rain storm that had happened earlier in the day and Izuku jumped in those as well as the leaves. He felt like he was six again, but he was enjoying himself doing the simple activity.
He was only a block or two away from his house now and he looked to his right and say the park all of the neighborhood children went to after school to play. He felt nostalgic today and remembered how much fun he had at the park when he was littler, the only memories he could remember were good ones. At least this place was still untouched by the harmful things of the outside world in his mind, the only things present were memories of swinging on the swing and going down the slide. He made a mental note to revisit the park eventually, as he hadn't been in years and wouldn't mind recreating the old memories.
Looking away from the park Izuku continued his walk home and reached the foot of the steps leading into his home and took out his phone to check his messages. He saw that he had one from Uraraka and he slid it open and read the following:
"Hey Deku I was wondering if u wanted to meet up somewhere casual tomorrow just to hang out and talk if that's good with u?"
Izuku smiled and sent a reply
"Yeah that sounds like fun! Do u have any ideas about where u want to meet up?"
He got a message back almost immediatly
"I have a couple of ideas but I kind of want to hear urs first..."
"Hmmm.. maybe a park since it's supposed to be nice tomorrow?"
"That sounds good! Which park tho?"
"There's one by my house actually that I passed by today and had actually been thinking of going to it anyway, but going with a friend is always more fun!"
"Sounds like a plan! Can u send me the name of the park and what time we should meet up"
Izuku sent her the name of the park and the time he thought would be best, 3:00 pm and sent it to her.
