Chapter 1
Harsh white light reflected on the glass. Miku pressed her hands against it, peering into the hospital-like room. She turned to Luka. "Do you think she's done yet?" she asked, referring to the newest vocaloid, who was currently being completed. She was scheduled to be finished today so she could perform in the upcoming Sakura Festival. Luka looked into the room as well. "She'll probably be done soon." she replied. Miku stomped impatiently. "We've been waiting months! I'm bored and ready to sing with her!" Luka smiled. "Miku, how about you go and see what IA's doing? She's always ready for a new song."
Miku frowned. "IA's working on a duet with Yukari today."
"Hmm. What about Rin or Len? They're usually doing something fun." Luka suggested. Before Miku could protest, Gumi came running from around the corner. "I heard she's done! Let's go see her!" she yelled enthusiastically. Miku and Luka turned around only to realize that they hadn't noticed that the new vocaloid had been completed. She was now sitting on the edge of the bed while attendants made sure everything was perfect. Miku, Luka, and Gumi smiled and ran into meet her.
