Chapter 8

Author's Note

Welcome back! This is the first time I've updated twice in one day! It makes me happy. This was originally going to be part of the last chapter, but it would've been pretty long, so I split it into two chapters. Enjoy!

        Luka stood, harsh and unrelenting, in front of Len and Kaito. "Now apologize." She demanded. After she had separated them, she had handcuffed both of them to a chair until they apologized. "Are you sure this will help?" Myra whispered. Luka nodded. She then turned back to the boys. "Come on, just apologize. I'll get more bananas and ice cream." Len looked at the ground. Kaito glared at the ceiling. Myra then got an idea. She ran off to the kitchen.

Myra frantically opened the freeer door, banana in hand. "Where's the ice cream?" she muttered to herself. "Ah! Found it!" She ran back to the other room. "Alright, Kaito, Len. I'll give you guys these if you apologize. If you don't, I'll burn them." Kaito's eyes got wide. "You'll burn my ice cream?" Myra leaned close. "Yes. And I won't regret it." Kaito gasped and turned to Len. "She's worse than Meiko-san." Myra smacked him with a banana. "I can hear you!" Kaito flinched. Myra sighed. "Look. I can easily see you two are good friends. Just apologize and get your stuff. Maybe I'll let you guys come to the lake with us." Len looked excited. "You're going to the lake? I haven't been there in forever!" Myra smiled. "And you get a banana in the deal." Len sat up straighter. "I'm sorry, Kaito-kun!" Myra looked to Kaito, waving the ice cream. "I apologize, Len!" Luka un-handcuffed them. "There, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Myra handed them their respective foods. "Go get your swimsuits. Meet us outside." Len took his banana. Oliver stepped into the room as Kaito and Len exited, talking excitedly about going to the lake. "You guys are going to the lake? I've never been. Can I join you?" He asked. Myra nodded. "Of course, Oliver-kun. Wait, can I call you that?" Oliver blushed. "O-of course! Yeah, sure." he stuttered. Myra smiled. "Alright then, Oliver-kun, go get your swimsuit and meet us outside."

        Myra looked out over the lake. "It's beautiful!" she exclaimed. Luka nodded. "It's one of my favorite places." The serene feeling Myra had shattered as Rin and Len raced past. "I can swim faster than you!" Rin shouted. "Oh yeah? Let's race!" Len challenged. Myra giggled. Everyody else walked calmly to the shore. Myra and Luka found a place to pu their towels. Myra started heading to the lake. "Aren't you going to swim, Luka-chan?" Luka nodded. "In a bit." Myra shrugged. "Alright." She then jogged after the others. "Hey, Oliver-kun! Wait for me!" Luka smiled as she watched Oliver blush bright red when Myra called him Oliver-kun.

        Myra splashed around in the water. She, Rin, and Luka had somehow ended up in a water war against Oliver, Len, and Kaito. "CHARGE!" Rin yelled. Myra, Luka, and Rin splashed as much water as they possibly could at the guys. Kaito got a spurt of water in the chest. "Ah! I've been shot!" He exclaimed. He then proceeded to make a dramatic death scene. Len played along, yelling, "No! Kaito! Don't die!" Kaito let out overly dramatic breaths. "Oliver...Len...Avenge me..." Len turned to Rin. "You will be the first to go." Len then tackled Rin as best he could in the water. Rin screamed. "Myra-chan! Help!" Myra giggled and swam over as fast as she could. "I'm coming!" She yelled. Luka and Oliver joined. "Revenge!" Oliver yelled, hitting Myra with water. "You won't defeat me that easily!" She shouted, rapidly firing water at him. Oliver sputtered and struggled to speak. "Fine! I surrender!" He shouted. Len looked over. "No! Oliver, don't let her seduce you!" Oliver blushed as bright as a tomato. "W-what?!" Myra giggled.When Oliver looked back at her she winked and fell into a fit of laughter as Oliver's blush got brighter. "I wouldn't do that!" She exclaimed. Luka shouted, "Myra help!" Just before Len jumped on her back. "I'm coming Luka-chan! We've just got to get Len, and then we'll win!"

Sometime and much water later, Len had been "defeated". Everybody sat on their towels, drying off.  Myra smiled. "That was so much fun! We need to do it again soon!' Luka smiled. "Definetley." Rin joined in, "Next time, we'll win again!" Len shouted back, "No you won't! We'll get you!" Rin and Len then launched into a fight, while all the others watched awkwardly. Luka stood up and picked up her towel. "Well, it's getting late. We should head back." Myra nodded. Soon enough, everybody had packed up and was ready to go. As they headed back, Rin and Len continued their fight(It had somehow evolved to a fight about sandwiches)Luka and Kaito were discussing something, and Myra and Oliver brought up the rear. "Hey, Oliver-kun," she said,"What did you think about today?" Oliver stared at the ground. "It was really fun. I-I'd like to do more with you, Myra-san. I'd like to get to know you better." Myra smiled. "I'd like to get to know you better, too, Oliver-kun. Oh, and you can call me Myra-chan." Oliver's blush returned. "Alright...Myra-chan."

Wow! This chapter was long too! The words just kept coming. Yeah...I have some cute plans for Myra and Oliver later...I've been thinking about it forever, and this chapter has finally started their romance! Thanks! Please rate and comment. :)
