I'm lost. I'm lost inside the depths of my own head. I'm lost in my thoughts. I can't pay attention because my mind is full of the cuts on my thighs and every insult I've ever been told. It's full of rejection and lies. It's full of quotes that, sadly, I can relate to. I sit in class holding back tears. I laugh and joke around but I'm dying inside. I'm so far away from everyone around me... but everyone else sees me right beside them.
