Eyes the most amazing lie
They seem to hide everything
We lie to keep you from feeling vulnerable and weak
We protect you in so many ways
And yet can still hurt you so badly
When you see the lies within us beneath the hurt and love
The hidden emotions take us down a dark and never ending hole
