Together with the coldness of her room and her sobbing, Moon could barely breathe. She had locked herself in there. After she had explained her childhood to Gladion, she ran off. She didn't want anyone to see her like this, not even her best friend or brother. A knock broke the eerie silence.

"I'm not here.", she grumbled. The door opened.

"Then how come you're replying?", Sun's quirky voice added.

"What are you doing here? Get lost, I don't want to talk." Sun sat down next to his sister.

"C'mere." Moon rested her head on his shoulder. "I know that, deep, deep inside, dad is proud of you."

"He never wasted a word on me, I doubt he even knows my name." Sun sighed.

"When you and mom left, you know I had a hard time dealing with it. So did dad." He paused, and repositioned himself. "You may not think so, but I heard his cries. I woke up somewhere last year, and saw him crying in the kitchen. When I asked what was wrong, he simply replied with 'I wish I had given my daughter the attention she needed'. It was by far one of the most saddening things I've ever heard." Moon shifted.

"Then why does he still refuse to speak to me...?"

"Rejection. I feel like he's afraid to give in now." The girl sniffed and wiped her tears once more.

"I guess you're right..."

"So, to lighten the mood... What's going on between you and french fry hair?" She froze.

"Nothing. We're just good friends."

"Awe come on sis, we've all read those sappy fanfictions on Wattpad! You can tell me, I promise I won't say anything."

"I don't feel anything for him Sun, just shut up about it."

"Alright. But remember, big brother is always here for you. Okay?"

"Yeah... Thanks..."

"No problem! Now let's go, don't you have a mission to go on? I bet Gladion is worried sick about you!" Moon rolled her eyes.

"Whatever."

Gladion was infuriated. He didn't want to hear anything of what his mother was saying. He smashed glass and crushed the TV. But most importantly, Lillie's heart.

She had learned that her mother made a horrible mistake which she regretted. She was still disappointes, but not mad.

"Gladi, listen to me!"

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT!" Tears streamed down his eyes. "Years I spent alone, without a father and a mother who cared more about some kind of jellyfish than her own fucking children!"

"Language, young man!"

"That's the least of my fucking problems right now! You abused me, didn't feed me for days, and now you think you can just be excused because you apolagized?! Lillie may be so kind-hearted, but I am NOT!" He panted. "Not until you bring my father back..."

"Gladi... I wish I could, I really do. But he's gone. I miss him just as much as you do... But accidents happen...."

"Are you serious? Do you really think I'll believe you?"

Lillie sat in the corner and covered her ears. She cried, even more than Gladion did. She loved her mother, but her brother even more. She couldn't stand it. A response caught her attention.

"I SAW YOU! Stop lying to me! I saw you push... I saw..." The boy fell on his knees, crying. Lusamine kneeled in front of him, and hugged him.

"Gladi, my dear boy... You've always seen things..."

"I-I'm not crazy..." He clutched onto his mother.

"There was a reason you had a therapist, together with pills. You're hallucinating."

"I don't need pills."

"You become violent without them. You're unstable without them. My dear boy, stay with us. This mission is far too dangerous for you." Gladion looked up at her.

"W-What? After everything you did to me? You expect me to let Moon take care of this all by herself, because I could get hurt?"

"I don't want to lose you dear..."

"You should be scared of what I will do to myself if something happens to Moon."

He stood up and walked away.
