Avery could feel her pack's excitement at visiting the place their Alpha and Beta grew up in; Avery however was all nerves, she tried not to show it but Lukan wasn't easily fooled.

Lukan took her hand, instantly calming her. Avery smiled up at him, extremely grateful for his presence; Lukan could always be there for Avery when it came to emotions.

An overpowering scent erupted around the pack, causing even Lukan to tense.

Avery raised her nose, sniffing the air much like a dog. 'They're just in the clearing, I don't think they've heard us yet.' said Avery, stepping ahead of her back and trotting forward warily.

Avery stepped into the clearing, closely followed by her pack. Three female wolves were facing the opposite direction, rapidly sniffing the air.

Avery hesitated, wondering whether to approach or not. She took a hesitant step backwards, watching the wolves’ backs. Avery heard a loud crack, and the wolves spun around. Avery shot a look back at her pack where Harper was smiling sheepishly, his foot raising off of a broken twig.

"Sorry." he muttered aloud. Hartley hit Harper on the chest with a muted bewildered look. "What? They already know we're here." Harper shrugged, causing Avery to roll her eyes and face the wolves.

All three wolves were well-groomed, and each a matching shade of red-brown. One looked only a pup, the second looked somewhat younger than Avery, and the final one was the most familiar. She had flecks of grey in her coat, and was by far older than the other two females; she was obviously the mother of the other two, Avery noted. The way she stood in front of the pups, hackles raised and teeth bared was an obvious give away.

"Aunt Delilah?"

The mother wolf stopped growling immediately, a curious look visible on her large face.

"Delilah Hunt." Avery repeated, though she was certain this time. "Mated to Conner Hunt, brother of my father." she continued, "I'm back, Auntie."

The wolf lunged forwards, Avery feared for a second that she was mistaken, and the wolf was in fact, not her aunt. Avery's fear melted away as a warm body collided with her own. A pair of arms wrapped around Avery, a squeal loud enough to make Avery go deaf was evidence that Avery was correct.

"Hello, Auntie." Avery grunted, prying her aunt's arms off of her. "You're naked." Avery hissed in her ear, causing Delilah to frown.

"So?" prompted Delilah.

"I have guys in my pack Auntie; you're flashing them right now." Delilah peeked over Avery's shoulder a shrieked, hiding behind Avery best she could. "Advert your eyes or turn around." Avery barked at her pack. Chris's face was burning a deep shade of red as he and the twins turned and faced the forest. Lukan turned his eyes downwards while Jess laughed at Chris's embarrassment.

“Roseanne, get me some clothes please.” Aunt Delilah ordered. Avery saw as the pup turned and ran from the clearing. Delilah faced Avery properly now, her warm blue eyes taking in every inch of Avery.

“Let’s get you home, dear.”
