Daisy is Ellie's sister and carer. Ellie has a long term Sickness and can't go outside. The harmful chemicals that come from cars and factories is what Ellie is allergic to. All ellie wants is a happy life with no boundaries. Daisy does everything in her power to keep Elle happy but now Ellie's turning 17 she wants to explore the world herself. She wants to be free.
In Ellie's house, there are filters everywhere you turn to make Sure no harsh chemicals can get into the house. If they do, Ellie would most probably die.
Ellie got diagnosed with her illness when she was 6 years old. Everyone was heart broken.

Dear diary,
It's coming up to my 17th birthday and all I want for it is to go outside. That is my only wish. It's just me, my sister and my nurse here at the moment and life is boring. I want to explore the world like I could when I was little. I miss the fun of digging in the now lonely sandpit. I miss being able to swing on the swing set that was once happy. All I want more than anything is to live a happy life where I can be free.

Today has been really hard. Ellie has kept nagging me to go outside! I feel really bad for her because she can't go outside and I would do anything to reverse that, but I can't :(. I've never seen so much sadness in Ellie's eyes before! She now sometimes refuses to take her medicine that is vital for her health. I really wish that this stupid illness of hers will go away because I hate seeing her so sad!
