Not A Great Day For Anyone (Part 1)

Dipper Pines closed his eyes and tuned everything else out. This needed a minute. How did this even happen?,  He asked himself. Maybe he was dreaming the whole thing. He slowly cracked his eyes open and spared his sister- no, not his sister, the demon POSSESSING his sister, a look. Bill Cipher, the triangular demon that had terrorized him and his family a few summers ago grinned at him unnaturally. Dipper had no idea how Bill managed this, but he didn't like it one bit. Is this how Mabel felt when I was possessed?,  He wondered. It's Horrifying!

"Boy, Shooting Star's body sure does have a lot of energy!" Mabel-no, Bill. Babel? Sure, Babel-crowed to him. Dipper dug his fingers into the beach towel underneath him. The Pines had decided to go to a camp for a few weeks that summer and for lunch, everyone usually took towels and ate outside. Kids were all around them, finishing their food and playing games.

"Why are you doing this?" He asked Babel, hoping no one overheard. This would be hard to explain. Babel laughed. Dipper shuddered.

"Why not, Pine Tree? Didn't you miss me?" She? asked.

"No! Never."

"awww. Pine Tree, I thought we were friends!" She teased, taking his Hat and placing it on her own head.

"Why would you think we're friends? I hate you. and give that back!" He lunged for the hat, but she dodged at the last second. The kids around them started walking to the counselors. Dipper rolled up the towels and followed everyone else. Babel followed, stumbling awkwardly the whole way. Dipper cringed. His poor sister. "Can't you just leave her alone?"

".....no thanks!" was the answer. "look Pine Tree,  you can't beat me. I'm a being of pure energy with no weakness!"

"Oh really? No weakness? Then how did we beat you? You were stone."

Babel glared at him. Unsettling. "Oh, Pine Tree." Her voice was sugary. Dipper didn't like where this was going. "Did you REALLY think you beat me? ME?" She took a step toward him. "I. Am. Bill. F-ing. Cipher." Each word was punctuated with a light shove to his chest. Dipper looked around. None of the interns or counselors seemed to notice. He was glad Babel didn't actually say the word, though. Kids at this camp could be as young as 7. Especially when he noticed a younger girl watching them.

"what are you talking about?" She asked curiously.

Dipper tried to think of an excuse, but figured she probably wouldn't believe the truth anyway. "She's possessed." He finally answered, gesturing to Babel.

"Really?" asked the girl. Babel nodded vigorously.  "..I don't believe you." the girl said.

Babel grinned. "oh, but its true, little meatsack. I can prove it! Just shake my hand." She held out her hand to the girl.

"No! no, no, no." Dipper interrupted and pulled Babel's hand away from the girl. "Don't do that." The girl gave them a weird look and walked off to find her friends or something.

"now, back to business, Pine Tree." Babel rolled up her sleeve and held one of her long nails to her arm. Dipper quickly realized what she was trying and grabbed her arm.

"Don't hurt her! Please."

Babel stopped and thought for a minute. Dipper shuddered again. It was so..eerie. It was Mabel's face, but that isn't her thinking face. "alright Pine Tree." She finally said, dropping his hat back on his head. "I'll cut you a deal. Switch places with her."

"..what?" Dipper fixed his hat and looked to Babel for an explanation.

"YOU can be my puppet! Then Shooting Star can have her dumb vessel back. Deal?" She held out her hand. Dipper hesitated. He did NOT want to become a puppet. Again. But he needed to save his sister. In the end, he knew what he had to do. He closed his eyes and grabbed Babel's hand. No turning back.

Mabel Pines was slammed back into her body. That was awful! She was there, but wasn't. Her vision was blurry for a few seconds, and then it cleared. All the other kids were filing back into the camp. She turned to her brother. But it wasn't her brother. Bill Dipper. Bipper. He was back. He grinned creepily back at her. "Welcome Back, Shooting Star!" and then he followed everyone else inside. This was bad. She needed to make sure he didn't kill anyone or himself. She quickly caught up with him and scanned the room. It was filled with kids, counselors and interns. They were all unaware of what was going on. She wanted to keep it that way. Hopefully, no one would have to know. Hopefully.

AN: So I'll probably make a part two of this. Hope you like it!
