you and ivan, your boyfriend of 2 months, were chilling on the couch in your home at the team 10 house. you were the only ones home at the time and you both were taking advantage of this rare occurrence.
ivan, being the goofball that he was, decided to start taking pics of you on snapchat.
"stop it!" you giggled covering your face after you realized what he was doing.
"why would i? your too beautiful!" he giggled back continuing to take pictures from every angle he could.
"no im not! im as ugly as it gets." you said hiding behind your phone.
ivan gets up and goes behind you to take more pics when all of the sudden, he stops. you noticed and turned around to see him with a hurt facial expression.
"what's wrong?" you ask as the smile on your face disappears.
"ive been meaning to ask you this but, why do you have so many cuts on your arms?" he asks sitting back down in front of you, grabbing your hands and holding them in his. you had always dreaded telling him about your past life, but you figured now was the time. you told him all about how your mom left when you were 7 years old, and how your dad abused you until he was put in jail. you had to live with your grandmother and was bullied all throughout middle school and the first half of high school until your grandmother home schooled you for the second half. you never really had any friends, until you were invited to join team 10 and to move to la. you were depressed almost all of your life, but everything got better since the move.
after you finished you looked up at ivan to see tears in his eyes.
"no don't cry!" you said hugging him tightly. ivan buried his face into the crook of your neck and wrapped his arms around your waist. after a few seconds, he pulled away and grabbed your arms. he raised your left to his lips and gently kissed each and everyone one of your scars, then did the same to your other arm. he kissed each one with passion and care. he left a tear behind. when he was done, he looked up at you with broken eyes and said quite but very seriously "never again, ok?"
"ok"
