I tugged on my backpack on my right shoulder and started walking out the door. "Bye guys!" I yelled just before leaving the house to let the gang know I was leaving.
As soon as I open the door I see Johnny Cade I jumped "oh Johnny I..I didn't see you there" why did I stutter? Why was I ever so nervous to see him.
"Oh hey Johnny y...ya scared me" I laughed nervously scratching the back of my head. " I was wondering if you want to walk to school with me" Johnny smiled at me which made me blush my face got real red.
"Yeah sure Johnny Cakes!" I said a bit to excitingly. Me and Johnny walked down the steps and started heading to school. "Hey Pony?" I looked over way to quickly.
"What Johnny?" I mumbled, "why won't you look at me?" My heart stopped, "n..no reason' I'm just a bit nervous for a test coming up today" I was looking at the ground the whole time.
I couldn't look at him without having a whole bunch of butterflies in my stomach. So I decided to just not look at him. "Oh, your smart man, you'll do good" Johnny smirked at me.
"Yeah" I started nervously laughing. There was something about Johnny's jet black hair and tan skin that makes me jump out of my skin. Me and Johnny went walking again I was still avoiding him.
Me and Johnny walked into school and Johnny got real close walking in a felt my chest get tight and I felt like I couldn't breathe, but I was also smiling happy to be with him.
"Why me?" I asked myself. Why am I feeling this way. I like it but then I hate it. Me and Johnny started walking our separate ways to our classes.
Me and Johnny weren't in any classes, most likely cause I was in the higher classes, the only class we had together was gym, which Johnny was failing.
When me and Johnny went our separate ways I felt like the whole other half of me was gone, lost. I wanted Johnny I wanted him bad, I had no idea why.
