I've always known there's a spirit sharing my home with me, but I've never been bothered by it. Its never made itself known to me before, but I know its there cause i can just feel it. I always feel watched in my room, not in any other part of my home, just my bedroom.
Now, it seems like it might be trying to get my attention.
It started off small, like a couple of cold spots here and there. But then things got weird...
See, i live in an apartment upstairs and my window is directly over my bed. One night, when I lied down to go to sleep, I heard six knocks. I quickly got up and looked outside, expecting to see someone staring back with the intent of breaking in. (I know, why would a burglar be so polite as to knock before he invades my home? I'm paranoid.)
But no one was there. I couldn't think of a logical explanation for this. And I was too tired to investigate any further, so I lied back down and about five minutes later heard a strange noise right beside my window. Like someone was running their nails along my window sill. I brushed this off. I was too tired to care much.
A few nights later, I woke up in the middle of the night to my cat, Felix, protectively on top of my chest and staring into the doorway of my room. Too tired to think much of it, I quickly fell asleep. I woke up again, and he was still staring. He wouldn't take his eyes off of whatever was in the doorway. I felt a heaviness in the room. Not like the usual feeling of being watched. This time, I genuinely felt..uncomfortable. I woke up two other times that night just to see Felix still staring at the doorway.
About two weeks after this, I woke up at around 3:40am, happy that I still had a few hours left before I needed to wake up, I went back to sleep.
It must've only been ten minutes that I slept, but I opened my eyes to see a black figure dart from the doorway and out of my room.
Then the knocks happened again, except there were 6 knocks, a pause, 3 three knocks, a pause, 2 knocks. I was way too creeped out to get up while this was happening, so I just waited until it ended and I looked out the window again. Nothing.
And then the night after that, something happened that really freaked me out. I have this fake aquarium my dad bought me for Christmas. It runs on batteries, and when you push the button toward the left, it lights up and fake fish start swimming around. Its obvious they aren't fish, but its just a cool little night light. Well last night when I went to the store to get groceries, I came back inside and went into my room to see it on.
No one else was in the house, and my cats couldn't have done it. Even if they somehow did, I have two garbage pail kids cards resting on the machine and right over the button that turns it on, if the cats had turned it on, the cards wouldve been knocked over right?
I saged my room, and nothing else happened so I figured the evil spirits, or whatever was in my room, had officially left.
Then as I was sketching, I hear a laugh right beside my bed. It sounded child-like, yet evil. Let me remind you, the TV was off, and I was the only one home.
Now ever since I moved here, the closet has always creeped me out. Under my bed too. There's just something about those two places that seem..dark.
Now, a month goes by.
My nephew comes over. He's about 5 years old. We're in my room and he tells me there are ghosts in here. I figure he's just using his imagination. So I play along and ask him where the ghosts are. "There," he points to the closet and then runs to the foot of my bed, "And there" he points directly under my bed. I got the chills. How did he know? I've told no one about this.
