Falling For A Watt

Chapter 1

Flashback 2014
Beep beep

"Bri, get up! BRIELLA!!"

I jerked awake to see my best friend Kendi standing beside my bed. "What's going on?"
"What's going in seriously?" She asked as I gave her a blank stare. "Your alarm clock has been going off for the past half hour."
"Woah seriously. Sorry Kendi." I replied as I sat up in bed.
"Its fine, but you should  really get up. You need to get ready its the first day of classes for college." Kendi replied walking away from my room.

I sat up in bed and looked at the clock. It was the first day of classes and the start of my college career at Wisconsin. For a girl who just wants to open up her own dog rescue I was excited to see what college had in store for me.

Later in first class
I sat down in my first class History "yay" and looked around the room. I looked down at my phone and glanced up. Just as I did something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention.
I couldn't help but look at him, he was tall, blue eyed, had darker hair not to mention a great smile. I was trying to hide the fact I was looking at him that's when I caught his attention. I quickly tried to turn away but it was too late.
"Hi, is this seat taken?" I heard him ask.
I took a deep breath in before replying. "No go right ahead."
"Thanks, my name is TJ. What's yours?" I glanced over to see him looking at me.
"Briella.  I go Bri though " I replied shaking his hand. "TJ? Is that short for something?"
I watched as he smiled before replying. "It is. Its my first initial and my middle initial. My real name is Trent." He responded as the teacher finally walked in.
"Hello class when I call your name please say here." I turned my attention away from him and looked at the teacher. "Briella Quill?"
I raised my hand when I heard my name. "Oh very good do you go by any nicknames or anything you would rather go by?"
"It does not bother me I go by Briella but a lot of my friends call me Bri. I respond to either one." I replied.
"I will just make a note of it by your name." the teacher named Miss Hill replied. She continued to go down the list of names. "Trent Watt?"
Out of the corner of my eye I saw T.J raise his hand. "Do you go by any other names or is it just Trent?"
"I go by T.J" he replied.
I watched as Miss Hill nodded her head and made a note of what he just said.
That's when it hit me. His last name was Watt. I knew I had heard that last name from some where. But thinking that I was just over thinking it I brushed it off.

If I only knew then that my original thought about his last name was correct then I probably would not of found myself in the situation I am in. Then again it is me so either way I would probably be in this situation.
