Chapter 6

Few Weeks Later
It has been a few weeks since T.J's surgery. Wisconsin is currently on a break so everyone is home. Except for me I am making my way to Wisconsin from Louisiana. That's when I finally pulled in.
"There she is. What's going on Bri?" I heard a voice ask me as soon as I got out of the car.
"Nothing much. What's going on my favorite defensive end?" I asked walking up to him.
"Oh you know it's a bye week for my team so I get to hang at home." J.J replied.
"Well it's really nice to see you." I replied back hugging him.
"Come on let's go inside." he replied.

We walked into the house and J.J took me to where the living room was. And there was T.J laying on the couch with his leg propped up.
"Look who I found." J.J said getting T.J's attention who smiled.
"Hey about time you get here."
"You know what driving from Louisiana to Wisconsin takes a while." I replied kissing him.
"I know I'm joking." he laughed taking my hand. "It's good to see you."
"It's good to see you as well. How's the knee?" I asked.
"It's good. Sore, but good. I leave for rehab in about 15 minutes." he replied.
"How long does rehab usually last?" I asked sitting beside him as he had sat up on the couch.
"About an hour sometimes a little longer." he replied as I nodded my head.

Later on
I was laying on the couch when J.J walked up beside me. "Hey put your shoes on I want to show you something."
"What do you want to show me?" I asked.
"Put your shoes on and you will find out." he smirked.
So once we finally left the house I had to ask him something. "J.J where are you taking me?"
"It's a spot on a hill that we always use to go when we were kids." he replied.

We finally made it to the top of the hill. "Here take a seat."
"Wow this is a nice view." I replied as I sat down. "Wait is that your house?"
"Yeah it is." he replied taking a seat next to me.
"Wow. You can see everything up here." I answered taking in the view.
"Yeah you can." he replied. That's when we meet eye contact.

The next thing I knew was he was leaning in and for some odd reason I felt drawn in by him. We were inches away from each other all I could feel was the heat from his breath.

I don't know why this felt natural when I knew how wrong this was about to be. But why was I finding it so hard to not want to stop this from happening.
