"You can have him."

Everyone around me looked bewildered. I payed no attention to the gasping faces of my friends. I have no intention on making this a bigger scene.

I shut my locker and look straight into the good girls eyes. If this is the girl he wants, I will no longer will fight this battle, she won. She look immensely happy while Mr. Bad Boy look confused as hell.

This wasn't part of his plan but I was no longer playing his game.

"Are you serious?!" Mrs. Good Girl squeal, "are you really leaving us alone?"

I nod my head, "He's all yours, you don't have to worry about me ruining your love fest."

It left a bitter taste in my mouth saying those words. The faces on my friends weren't all that pleasant either. Especially Mr. Bad Boy, who now looks furious.

"Oh my God! Did you hear that Alex? We can finally be happy!" She said grabbing hold of his arm.

Alex didn't pay attention to the good girl. He instead  stare at me with such intensity; if I were to look away, he would burn holes on the side of my head.

Miss Main Queen Bee lays a hand on my shoulder,  "Are you sure about this?" She whispers.

"I am, but don't worry, this won't ruin our reputation."

"That's not what I'm worried about Lexi.." she says with, worry shown in her eyes.

I forced a smile, she nor anyone needs to know I'm hurting. It was my decision to make Mrs. Good Girl's life miserable so it's my decision when enough is enough. It was no longer worth the trouble. He wasn't worth the trouble.

"What's this about Lexi?" Alex said lowering his face towards mine, "if this is a sick joke of yours, I won't toler-"

"Shut up will you," I sneer. I gritted my teeth and take out a golden invitation out of my bag. If I were to make "peace" with them and myself, I must assure them I won't cause them anymore trouble. This party invitation was no different from waving a white flag. At least my flag was pretty.

"No way, she's inviting her?" One girl dramatically gasp.

"She's get an invitation before me?" One girl say hurtful.

"You idiot, you're a guest of honor like the rest of us," her friend barked back.

"This gotta be a prank," one said unsure.

"Would you all shut up!" Laura said screaming at them. All the girls stood up straight and stared at the floor. Laura then made hand signals for me to continue talking.

"You're officially invited to my Sweet Sixteen. Please show up with decent clothing," I said eyeing her clothes, "Or don't show up at all."

Mrs. Good Girl gawks at my invitation. I smirk slightly, not everyone gets invited to this party. It's good to know that Miss Goodie Toe Shoes here knows this is important. She look like she was about to burst into a song but then the poor girl grew sad when Alex took the invitation out of her hand and handed it back to me.

He chuckled coldly, snatching the invitation out of her hands, "I must agree with Barbie Girl here, this must be prank. Avery is not going."

Oh wow, so she does have a name. I honestly forgotten her name so I resorted on using nicknames.

"I'm not going to ruin my party over someone so pathetic," my eyes flicker to Alex "and I'm talking about you."

Alex was taken back, I've never once insulted him. There was times where I teased him but never this.

"Alex C'mon! I've never went to a party and it's rude to down an invitation," Avery plead.

Alex didn't say a word or even glimpsed at Avery. He kept staring at me, still lost for words. I don't know what he expected; for me to keep chasing after him? Always be there for him when Avery isn't available. Not anymore, I have better class than that.

"I'll love to come to your party!" She chipped.

I wince at her high pitch screamin- I mean cheering. Handing her my invitation, she claps her hands and then puts the card in the bag. She looks like she was going to pull in for a hug but I put my hand up before she could. She definitely gotten the wrong idea.

"This isn't an invitation to be besties for life. After this party, I'll be leaving you both alone and I expect you to do the same. Kay?" I said sweetly.

I flipped my hair and turn my back to them in one swift move. That's when Laura knew we were finished. Laura snaps her fingers and starts heading towards the school exist, with the all girls trailing behind her.

Alex and Avery left the other direction while I stood by my locker. After everyone left the halls, it was just me and Vanessa lingering in the empty hall. She snake her hands around my waist and lays her head on shoulder.

"You did the right thing, I'm proud of you," she said with a low voice.

I blew out a deep sigh and closed my eyes.

"I did, didn't I?"
