The Lake

(I skipped a few weeks in time because there was nothing really to write about)

I was at home and woke up at about 9:00 am. In a few days I'm going to L.A with the boys. It's weird, I didn't think Joe would let the boys go on a holiday so close to when the CD and DVD went on sale. I guess he just wants to give them a brake. I got out of bed and got dressed quickly. I just threw on some jeans and a jumper. I put my hair into a side plat and put on a small bit of makeup. I was walking down the stairs when I heard my mother calling. "Ebony!", she called. "I think it would be a good idea to pack for L.A today", she suggested. "Ok I'm just getting breakfast", I said back. I got some cereal and tooked into it. I was so hungry. When I was finished I brushed my teeth and went upstairs. I got out a big suitcase and got out a bunch of clothes and shoes. As I was packing my phone rang. It was James. "Hi it's me", he said. "I was going to pack today and was wondering if you are too", he said. "Yeah I am right now", I said. "I was wondering if you'd like to come with me for a walk by the lake", he said. "Yes I would love that James I'll be over in a minute, I just wanna finish packing first", I said. "Yeah I am too, well I love you and I'll see you soon", he said. We both said we love each other and then hung up. I threw a few more items in my bag and told my mam I was leaving to go with James to the lake. The lake in just a bit further from the park so I think he might drive us. She said I could go so I grabbed my bag and phone and closed the door behind me. I crossed the road and reached his house. I knocked on the door and he opened it with a smile on his face. His smile is so perfect, every time I see it I smile back. "Let's get in the car", he said as he opened the door for me. He had bread with him and a basket so I guess the bread was for the ducks. I got in and he soon got in his side. He started the car and turned in the radio. What seemed like was on purpose Can We Dance came on. James looked at me and smiled. "I can't wait for L.A, it's gonna be great", I said. " yeah I know, two more days away", he said. We reached the lake and it was just us and two or three more people. It was so nice and peaceful. "Here you go", said James as he passed me a slice of bread. The ducks slowly came out of the lake and waddled over to us. There was a mother duck that had four chicks with her. She was very protective over them. I threw bits of bread beside them and they swallowed it very quickly. When the bread was gone we sat on a rock beside the lake. James took my hands and held them and he started singing. It was a song that would be on the album. It was called Shout About It. I love his voice, yeah Brads is deeper but I just love his high voice. It's so beautiful. He looked into my eyes as he sang and the lyrics nearly made me cry with joy.

When he finished he got out the picnic basket he brought with him. There was chocolate, coke and other sweets and stuff in it. I lay my back on him with my head on his chest while we eat the sweets and chocolate. People started to leave because it was getting late. We stayed there until the sunset, it was gorgeous. "Should we go?", he asked as he kissed my forehead "You can stay the night if you'd like?", he said . "Yeah thank you , I'll ring my mam now", I said as I got out my phone. My mam allowed me and we got our things and got in the car. "Wait, what will I wear to bed", I asked. "Well I'm just wearing my boxers but I'll give you a top if you want", he said. "Thank you ", I said as I reached over to kiss him. James started the car and we drove to his house. His parents were in the sitting room and said I could stay. We went upstairs and into his room. I actually love the smell of his room. He stripped down to his boxers and me to my bra and pants. "Here you go", he said as he gave me a t-shirt. Of corse, it smelt like lynx... "Lynx is the best smell in the world", I said as I smiled at him. He grinned back and laughed. "I know you like it, that's why I wear it", he said looking at me.

We hopped into bed and snuggled up together. We fell asleep within minutes.
