April fools

"Wake up sleepyhead", I heard a voice say lightly shaking me. It was James. "What time is it?", I asked, I hate being woken. "10:30am", he laughed. "It'll be good to get up early today because of tomorrow.. Your a bit late though", he joked. "I am actually so excited for tomorrow", I said yawning. Suddenly, as my eyes were closed while I was yawning, James lifted me up and put me over his shoulders. "AHHH", I said laughing. "Put me down... Please", I said trying to get down. We reached the bottom of the stairs and he put me down. "What would you like for breakfast", he said. "I'll have what your having please", I said as he took out a healthy cereal. He is always eating healthy, to keep them sexy abs I guess you have to. I poured in my milk and got out two spoons. We sat down at the table and ate our breakfast. "James?", I asked. "Yes beautiful", he said as I blushed. "Would it be ok if I invited Jessica up for today because I won't see her till after L.A?", I said. Jessica was is a friend of mine that I went to school with and text now and again. "Yeah sure thing babe", he said. Then it hit me. I hadn't even told her I was going to L.A. I'm such a bad friend, I should of told her. I took out my phone and scrolled through my contacts until I reached her.

-Message to Jess- "I was wondering if you'd like to come up today, I'm going on holiday tomorrow and would like to see you before I left? x"

I put my phone down and soon enough she texted back.

-Message from Jess- "yeah I'd love that, I asked and I'm allowed, is 11:30 an ok time?"

I texted her back saying that's fine and asked my mam. Sure enough I was allowed.

I was just looking through my phone as James was eating as I saw what date it was... April 1st. Great, now I can prank James. I didn't let him notice that I knew incase he didn't realise what day it was. "So what will you be doing while Jess is at mine?", I asked. "Well I'm gonna stay here till like 12:30 and then go GYM", he said. "Do you know what time Jess is going, I'm not trying to be rude, it's just we'll need an early one tonight", he said. "Umm I'll say about 4:00pm", I said knowing I didn't tell her that but I was going to get her to help me prank James. "I was going to come back from the GYM at about 3:30 so we could spend some time together", he said. "Great", I said. That will be when we will prank him then. I giggled to myself thinking of things we could do. "What are you laughing about?", he smiled. "Oh just something Jess said a while back", I lied, not letting him know. We chatted for a bit and then I decided I should go home and tidy my room. I kissed James and left. I got home and said hi and then went to my room. It wasn't that messy, I just needed to put my makeup back. Jess got here just as I finished. She came in and I told her that I was gonna prank James and needed her help. "I've a great idea", she said. "You told me a while ago that James usually leaves his door closed but not locked,right?", she asked. "Yeah that's right", I said liking where she was going."Did you make any pies, recently?", she asked. "Yeah my mam did yesterday and they're in the fridge", I said smiling. "How about we take the pies out of the fridge , sneak into his house and then get him when he doesn't expect it", she said laughing. "That's a brilliant idea", I said high-fiving her. "I'll have to tell Deirdre first so she doesn't lock the front door", I said as I got out my phone to ring James's house phone. I told her about it and she said she wouldn't tell James. I love his mother, she has such a good sense of humour. "We will have to wait until he gets back from the GYM at 3:30", I said sulking. "It'll be worth it though", she said smiling. It was now 12:30 so I looked out my window and saw James leaving. "James has just left", I said. "Only three more hours until we prank James", I said laughing. We went downstairs to get some lunch. I made myself a ham and cheese sandwich whilst Jess made herself a ham and lettuce one. We sat in the sitting room and now that my parents are at work, we have the house to ourselves. My mother works as a beautician and my dad works as an engineer. They won't be back until about 8:00pm so we had the day to ourselves. I turned on the TV and I out on a music station. Locked Out Of Heaven came on and I got up and danced around the room like a maniac. I love Bruno Mars, but not nearly as much as James. "Your crazy", Jess laughed. "Oh Yeah Yeah, Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Ooo", I sang as Jess laughed at me. I didn't care, this was my jam! When the song finished I sat down and ate my lunch. Jess was already finished hers by the time the next song came on. "Oh yeah, where are you going tomorrow?", Jess asked. "L.A", I said smiling. "WOW!", she said astonished. "Yeah, Joe is paying, how nice is that!", I said. "Don't worry, I'll get you something", I said. I always got her something on holiday and she always got me something. It was just how it worked. When the show ended it was about 3:00pm. We brought out our plates and decided we should go to James's and wait for him to get back. I got the pies, and the keys and closed the door behind me. We got to his house and Deirdre let us in. "I have to say, this was a brilliant plan, I doubt he even knows what day it is", she said laughing. We took our places and waited for James. We heard the door open and then shut. James is back. We tried to hold in our giggles and James entered the room. We jumped out at him and threw the pies at him. "AHHH, WHATS THIS!!??", he jumped. We were in hysterics laughing at him. "APRIL FOOLS", we shouted. "I didn't even know it was April Fools", he said with pie all over him. I have to say, he looked so hot, even with pie on him. "Look at my top", he said laughing. "Well, I guess I have to take it off now", he said. He lifted up his top to reveal his sexy, well toned abs. I must have been staring at them for long because James and Jess started laughing at me. My cheeks went bright red with embarrassment. "I... Eh... I'm... Sorry", I stuttered. "It's ok", he laughed. "How long did it take to get abs like that", Jess asked. "Honestly, about a year", he said looking at his body. Jess's mother showed up at my house as it was now 4:00pm. I walked her over and said goodbye. I saw James at his door, with pie still on him. "Good", I thought. I ran over to him and went into his house. "That was very cleaver", he said as he bent down to kiss me. Just as he was about to kiss me, I moved and licked a clump of cream off his face. "Haha very funny ", he said. I saw mischief in his eyes, it told me to run. I ran upstairs and into his room. I heard him following behind me. "Get back here", he said laughing. I crawled into his bed and under his covers. I heard him enter the room looking around. Then he stopped. He saw me. He ripped over the covers and started tickling me. I bursted out laughing "James stop", I said trying to catch my breath. "Never!!", he said laughing. He finally released me and lay beside me. We cuddled until I had to go home. "Goodnight babe, I'll see you bright n early tomorrow, around 4:00am", he said opening the door. "Oh, and thanks for putting cream all over me!", he said with the cream now gone from his face. "Alright, I love you", I said. He bent down and kissed me. "I love you too", he said. I went home and got ready for bed, making sure I had everything packed for tomorrow. I said goodnight to my parents and went to bed.
