So this morning, I had found out that our dear Ben Platt is leaving DEH on November 19th of this year. Yup. The actor who plays Evan of Dear Evan Hansen is leaving. I was kinda upset when he announced that he was leaving.
He was basically the heart of Dear Evan Hansen, but if you remove that heart and replace it, the show will still continue to function. Still, it won't be same heart.
I don't know. I came up with that when I saw that announcement. Anyways, I'm glad Ben Platt had such an awesome time playing Evan! All of us fans will miss him dearly and I'll look out for any musicals that he would feature in the future!
