His house...?

It's been about 3 weeks since we moved here,school hasn't been that hard,I've mainly been hanging out with river,everyone els is nice and everything but,I just have a lot of fun with him,I've noticed from the beginning river has changed a little bit,when I first met him he was pushing me away like he didn't trust anyone,now he's a lot more open and friendly.

I walked into class to see everyone talking-mostly yelling-and throwing stuff left and right,I looked around but didn't see river,I got a little nervous I didn't really talk to anyone els in the class as much so I just sat in my normal seat and waited for class to start.

It was about a minute or two left until the bell rang and river hadn't arrived yet,I got worried,I don't know why,it's not like something's going to happen. Rivers usually a little later for class but never this late...

Soon enough river walked in as the bell rang,I waved at him as he walked over and sat next to me "hey" he smiled sitting down "hey,later than usual I see" I laughed "yeah,I was,busy" he sad taking out his sketch book and starting to draw "it's not like it matters,teachers not even here yet" he added "it's like a mad house in here" I laughed "nice outfit" river grinned,I looked down at what I was wearing,I had a green pastel sleeveless hoodie and some jean shorts "thanks,I wear this a lot actually" I smiled "looks good on you" he smiled The teacher walked in and sat down at his desk "sorry I'm late kids,today I have some work to do so just stay quiet please" he said pulling out some papers "oh yeah,i forgt,tomorrow's there's a football tournament during school,so football guys be ready" he added "there's a football tournament?" River asked "I guess so" I shrugged "eh,I was never a football guy" he said "me neither" I added "oh I just remembered,my brother Aaron wants to know if he and Amanda wants to have a play date,is that okay?" I asked "oh yeah,it can be at my house,Amanda would love it" he smiled "awesome-wait I don't know were you live" I added "right" river said trying to think "I guess I can show you,you have a car right?" He asked,I nodded my head "righteous,me and Amanda can ride with you" he added "yeah I can drop you off and-drop us off?" He asked cutting me off "do you not want to come over?" He asked "oh no,I just didn't know if you wants me to stay" I smiled "oh no,it would be great to have you over" He insisted "awesome" I smiled "this is going to be awesome!" I yelled "yes,this is going to be the best play date ever!" he said putting his hand into a first,I couldn't help but laugh "a play date of the ages!" I yelled,we shared a laugh as the day went on.

Me and river started walking to the elementary building to get Aaron and Amanda,when we made it there they came running to us excitedly "hey Danny!" Aaron yelled,river giggled quietly to him self "hey little bro" I smiled "Danny?" River laughed "yeah it's what Aaron calls me" I said hugging Aaron "I like it" river smiled,I laughed "okay Danny,let's go" he added,I rolled my eyes "you brought your self into this,Ima call you Danny from now on" he added,I sighed as we all walked to my car "so Amanda,how's your day been?" River asked as we got into the car "it was awesome!" She yelled "yeah!" Aaron added,I giggled softly to my self,Amanda and Aaron began to chatter about there day as river showed me the way,soon enough we stopped in front of this beautiful house,it was to storied light blue house with trees around the sides,we got out and started walking to the front door,Aaron and Amanda ran in side as soon as they could,river I just stood there I the porch or a little pit "you know,your pretty cool Danny" he smiled. River just called me cool.RIVER SAID IM COOL! "Thanks,you to" I smiled as we walked in,played that out smoothly,Amanda and Aaron were sitting on the floor in the living room playing with toys and what I can assume is rivers mom in the kitchen cooking " hi Miss Romave" I smiled waving "oh hi,you must be Daniel!" She smiled,how dose she know my name? Dose he talk about me? "C'mon" river said walking to the couch. He sat down patting the seat next to him,I sat down relaxing my shoulders,i don't know why but I was nervous,we watched as Aaron and Amanda played with there toys as they watched some cartoons as well "oh I completely forgot,I was going to show you something" river said standing up starting to walk away,he turned to me and held out his hand "you coming?" He asked "yeah" I said grabbing his hand,he pulled me out to the back yard were a willow tree sat right in the middle of a plat of flowers surrounding it with a bench right next to the tree,river dragged me to the bench were we sat down "this is beatiful" I smiled looking around "yeah,your the first person I showed this to,it's nice" he smiled,it got silent,I liked it but I wasn't sure if river did,I hate small talk and I bet he dose to "so...-I hate small talk" he said cutting me off.yep. "You know you don't have to fill the void with meaningless banter,silence is peaceful" he added,I took a sigh of relief "me to" I smiled "I was thinking we can go to the arcade sometime soon,if you want" river said scratching his head nervously "that sounds like fun,I love the arcade" I smiled,river seemed really happy when I agreed to go "sounds cool,Friday maybe?" He asked "yeah,that perfect" I replied,now I'm really exited,to go its going go be so much fun!

For most of the day me and river sat out there talking as Amanda and Aaron played inside,after a while me and Aaron decided to go home,Aaron went straight to bed but I sat in my room with all my unpacked box's from when we first moved in,the walls are bare and the rooms mainly empty except my guitar,bed,and the box's pilled up in the corner,I grabbed my guitar and sat on the bed leaning on the wall,I play a soft melody relaxing after the long day,I can't wait to hang out with river again,I'm always exited to hang with him,after a while I get nervous around people and big social groups it's so nerve raking,but when I'm with river everything just slips away.I'm not as nervous. When I'm with him.

Not much happens in this chapter it's mainly to help the story progress,I have a lot coming up for this story which I'm honestly in love with it,see you in the next chapter
