Author pov:

He wakes up, ready to start the day, but the first thing that comes to his mind, his ex girlfriend , the one he hurt so much, but still loves her, the one that he will always love, but she would never get back with him after all he did...

He gets in the shower, that's what he does when he needs to think...

When he gets out, all he does is throw on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt, he lays in bed and goes through his phone...

"Ding ding" he gets a notification, "@smilingselman has mentioned you in a comment", he quickly clicks on it, but when he saw what it said, he broke down,"she looks happier with him😣",the comment read, he was confused until he saw the picture, it was y/n, his beautiful y/n, with another man.

His heart aching, eyes red and puffy for crying, his mind lost in its own world, a world of sadness.

"She looks happier, she does" he repeated to himself, "and as Long as she's happy, I'm happy too" he thought to himself...

He got up, fixed his hair, faked a smile and left his house, going to the park to distract himself..

But they were there, the guy said something to her ear to make her smile, making Mario's heart ache, all of a sudden she looks at him, she smiled and waved, a weak smile, a sorry smile, goes out of Mario's face as he waves back, then she starts walking...

But that smile, that smile is all Mario needed to continue with his life, knowing the girl he once loved, and still does, is now happier, than how she was with him...

This is so emotional omg 😭
