I glared at the two kits as they padded out, tails held high as if they were clan leaders or something.

"Stupid Frogdung" Lightsong meowed softly, her eyes couldn't take anymore of the tears pressure and salty droplet flowed out of her bright eyes which seemed to blaze with hatred

Aerialkit looked distraught, poor thing. Practically only just opened large azure eyes and all of this has happened. I put a comforting grey tail on her back and the small she-kit flashed me a grateful smile and looked back at our mother, obviously disturbed by the events that just occurred.

"Mother, are you ok?" I mewed softly, my eyes swelling with tears at the thought of my mother being sad but I fought them back for my kins sake.

"Im fine" She mewed and nodded. She gave me a half-hearted smile. I knew that she was lying through her teeth but I didnt say anything in the danger of causing more upset.

~Archkit Pov~

My lime-yellow gaze swept over the cats. My kin. My mother. I unsheathed my tiny razor like claws with a quiet hiss, my ginger pelt quivering and threatened  to bristle as i thought of Beekit and Halokit.

Tratiors I snapped in my mind Dirty rotten Traitors.

I glanced at my russian blue sister, Deepkit, with concern. She hardly every spoke and was always in a distant place.

We had been born after the warning from Iceclan at dawn. I clearly remembered opening my eyes and seeing a bright pastel sunset which was imprinted in my mind. The forest was full of stunning sights like this I guessed and wanted to explore.

My mind drifted from my mother to Beekit and Halokit. I could see them as I was closest to the den mouth. They were prancing around without a care in the world and this enraged me.

How dare they! I raged in my mind How dare those inconsiderate trout act like nothing had happened.

I glared at them and saw Beekit look around. He saw my disapproving glare and I saw a flash of regret in his eyes. I blinked my lime-yellow eyes in half shock, confusion and slight anger.

Why?..... Why.....
