After the building had been destroyed from Tord's rampage, the three main characters had to move. Their stuff was basically ash and scattered in the rubble and debris. They had nothing.

Matt, who's eye was still not healed, didn't really speak much as the car sped down the road. He stayed in the back, as quiet as ever. Edd was driving, a sorrow look on his face as he kept looking back at his silent friend.

"How are you holding up back there?"

He asked, and Matt just shrugged, keeping his eye covered with his hand. Tom was quiet as well, bandages over his wounded arm, and his eyes closed. Edd gulped. Everything was going horrible. He reached over and turned on some smooth jazz, hoping it will ease the mood in the car.

The rain pelting the car calmed Edd rather quickly. He smiled softly, but couldn't get the image of their old burning house out of his head. Luckily for Edd, Ricco had been outside when the house had been destroyed. His little furry baby was okay. Right now, Ricco was asleep on Matt's lap. As if the cat could feel how upset and grim Matt felt.

The chubby boy sighed as he closed his eyes for a moment, letting out a soft groan. He didnt know if Tord escaped the robot alive or what...he was just really stressed out right now. Finally, they pulled up to the new house.

"We're here!"

He exclaimed as the car skitted to a stop.

The house was pretty big, yet old. The wood creaked and swayed in the wind. Cobwebs littered the windows and the grass reached up to Edd's hips. The house was at least two stories high, the wood was a dark color and the windows were cracked and broken. The gravel path was all sloppy and slippery from the downpour. The entire place was surrounded by pine trees, pinecones and nuts laid on the porch that the roof didn't cover. A old, disgusting chair sat on the porch, soaked with years of rain and snow. It looked like it was going to collapse at any moment.

"This doesn't look creepy at all."

Tom said, and Edd jumped, he didn't expect the other male to be awake. "Hey! This is the only house we can afford right now! Shush!" Edd scowled as he opened the door, taking a deep breath of the country air. It was still raining, so they had to get in quickly before they could get soaked.

Matt gently pushed Ricco off of his lap, waking up the cat, and left the warm car. He shivered and hugged himself as he walked to the trunk and took out two small bags. Their neighbors, Eduardo and Mark, had gave them clothes and a few other necessary items that Jon used to own before he, well, died. Matt knew that they didn't want to give these items away, but he also knew that they wanted the three gone as fast as possible.

Ricco jumped down and walked next to Edd as he walked up to the house and used the key he had gotten from the seller to open the front door.

Luckily for them, the house was mostly furnished. It had eight rooms, two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, a dining room, a living room, the attic, and the basement. The living room had one couch covered with a white cloth, a bookshelf with a few books, a small table and a few old paintings. The first bedroom had two beds, without the mattresses, two empty wardrobe, a mirror, and a desk. The other one only had one bed,one wardrobe, a dress, and a bookshelf. The kitchen had a empty fridge, sink, stove, and cabinets. Yet there was a few opened cookbooks here and there. The bathroom had a few spiderwebs and holes here and there that needed to be repaired, and a broken window. Everything needed repair, actually. But this was the only house that they could afford.

Matt slammed the trunk closed with the two bags in hand, and looked up. For a moment, he thought he saw something in the window in the attic. It looked like...a kid? But as soon as his eyes laid on the figure, a flash of lightening blinded him, and when he could regain his vision, the figure was gone. He frowned.

"I'm going crazy.."

He mumbled, shaking his head as he walked inside. He had no idea what he, and the other two were getting into...
