CH 06 The Black Cloak

Location: Middle East West Route

It's take two and a half days to reach West Laguna stronghold. Right now, we had been 1 day and a half we went on this journey but still this coward knight can't stop talking to me. It's so annoying. Talking nonsense without any single things useful information that can be share in my both ears. He just wants to try on me and make me fallen for him.

"Princess, you know what? If one day I'll be a king, I will protect and bring happiness to the citizen with all my heart and especially you Princess." He said arrogantly. I'm trolled up. I don't know his talk had make me annoy or laugh but I feel both of it. The annoy me say a coward like you want to become a king. Nope, there is no chance I give my kingdom like him that will my kingdom fall down.

The funny me say he try so hard to make me fall for him but still being dump by me. I can count that almost more than hundred times he tried but failed. So, try for the next time and maybe I can think that the chance to win my heart is 'None'. I laughed myself after looking his effort but I still shouldn't be mocking him so terrible. Don't worry I just mocking him in my heart only and smile at him when accepting his dreams.

"Yes of course you will be a king Zent, but maybe a queen that will besides you is my sister.". He silent a moment and make a face that not accepting my word. "You must think of it that I'm not the only one who become my father's heir". I give a smile and ride my horse faster than him.

I leave him behind so I can avoid to hear his chat with me. I ride beside my army parade. For a moment, they sing an army song to make their journey more spirited. I know this route don't have a good scenery. What have your right and left side just a forest full of bush. I follow up the rhythm first and finally sing together. I can feel the joyful with them whatever challenge they face, their morality still strong.

"Stop!" I command them suddenly caused they alert their surrounding and they didn't shock. I feel strange like somebody watching us. I become more suspicious the sound of the bush and the flock of the birds suddenly fly scattered without any direction. I get off my ride prepare myself by holding a sword to be draw out.

"What it is, Princess?" Zent asking while coming closer behind me.

"Silent." I whispering to him.

Suddenly the three-person of black cloak wearing a mask appeared in front of us. "State your identity!" One of my army asking them. They didn't answer. They come closer to us and suddenly they draw their weapon inside their clothes.

"Draw your sword!" We drawing a sword and make position to defend ourselves.

"Put down your weapon!" I ordered them the black cloaked to surrender by putting down their weapon but it seemed that doesn't work at all. I repeat my surrender sentences but they still move forward to us with their weapon on their hands.

"Seriously three versus hundred men? They think they can win against us, huh." Zent said arrogantly.

"Don't look down your opponents, Zent." I look their movements cautiously to prepare if any attack were launch.
