Chapter6: Sunday Brunch

  The next morning,  my alarm went off at 8:35 am. I got up,  and did my morning routine,  and chores,  before I got dressed for me and Tom's date.  After I did my chores,  I got dressed, I put on a yellow dress with flowers on it,  and a brown flower belt around it. Then I put on a small brown jacket over it ,then I put on a pair of brown flat shoes.  After that i put on brown eyeliner,  and black mascara. Then I put on pink lip gloss.   Then after that I went dow stairs ,and I got a text from Tom, it said:

Tom: Hey darling , Are you ready?

Me: Yes

Tom: ok I'll be there in 10 minutes, 

Me: ok see ya!

After  texting Tom ,I went to make some coffee,  because I know we would have to wait a while for the food.   After making my coffee and drinking it, Tom was here . Ding Dong!  my doorbell rang, I walked to the door and opened it. "Hello darling" Tom said smiling.   "Hi" I said. "You look fabulous!!" Tom said.  "Oh ha thank you Tom"  I said smiling.  "Ok lets go!" I said walking out the door.   We walked to his car ,Tom walked around to the passenger side of the car and opened the door for me.  "Thank you!" I said.  Tom went to the driver side and got in, "So where are we going?" he asked.  "Hmm I dont know were do you want to go?" I asked him with a smile.  "Where ever you want to go" he said.  "Ok well I know a little cafe down the road not to far from my job" I said.  "Ok lets go!!" Tom said. We drove on the road to the cafe, we parked the car,  then Tom got out and opened the door for me. Then we walked inside to the cafe, It smelled delicious.  We found a table with two seats, The cafe was nice it was painted  a beige color,  and purple flowers on the walls in dark green buckets, and the chairs were a light brown,  they were made out  of straw. And they had a cash register,  and menus behind it,  that part looked like Starbucks. "So what are you going to order?" Tom asked me disterbing me from my thought.  "Oh sorry I dont know lets see.." I said.  looking at the menu. "Emma?," Tom said holding up my chin with his finger. "Yes?" i said.  "you know you look really beautiful." Tom said with a smile.  "Aww thanks Tom"  I said blushing looking away.  "Your welcome" he said.  "Hi what would you guys like to order?" the waitress asked. "Um I will get two pancakes, with scramble eggs well done" and a sausage and bacon." I said with a smile.  "Ok what about for you sir?" she asked.  "ill have three pancakes and a flat egg, and two pieces of bacon."  Tom said smiling.  "Ok your food will be out in a little bit." She said and walked away.   After we ate brunch we got in the car.  "So where to next?" I asked Tom.  "Well where do you want to go?" He asked smiling.   "Lets go for a walk in  Central Park" I said. smiling.  "Hm hm are you sure there's a lot of dangerous people there?" Tom asked.  "Yup but only at night, and youll be there to protect me wont you? and its beautiful!" I said.  "yes of course! Ok" Tom said.   We drove to Central Park, and got out of the car. "This is beautiful" Tom said.  "Especially with the warm sun!!" Tom said.  With a laugh.  "Yup it is." I said. We started walking on the trail, of the park. "Hey ill be right back im gonna go buy some water from that drink cart over there" Tom said.  pointing to a man selling drinks.  "Ok" I said.  Tom walked over to the man, Then he came back. "Here's your water." Tom said. "Oh no Tom you didn't have to get that for me!" I said.  "No, I wanted to" Tom said with a smile.  "Thank you" I said. I gave him a hug and we walked side by side the rest of the path and holding hands.  After the park,  we went back to the car.  "So where next?" I asked Tom.  "What about your house?"  Tom asked.  "haha um no! my house is a mess and..." Then Tom leaned in and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek.  interrupting me.  "Sweetie I dont care" he said softly with a nice smile.  after he gave me a kiss on the cheek.  "Oh ok fine lets go to my house" I said. smiling.    We drove to my apartment, and we got out of the car.  We walked to my house,    we went inside.  "This is a beautiful house!!" Tom said smiling.  "Oh no your just saying that" i said to Tom  with a laugh.   "Haha no im not its beautiful!"    he said smiling. I sat down on the couch, Tom walked over to my booskshelf. "Wow you have a lot of books!" Tom said. surprised. "Do you read?" he asked. "Eh sometimes" I said.   "Why dont you read anymore?" Tom asked dissapointed.  "Because Im busy I have work.." I said.  "Oh that makes sense" he said taking a book off the shelf.  Then he sat down next to me, "Ahh Shakespeare" I said.  "Yeah I love his poems his books!!" Tom said with a smile.   "Can you read some it  for me?" I asked him with a smile.  "sure!!" he said.  Tom opened the book,  and went to the first page of the book. He read to me a few pages,  from the book. Then I had fallen asleep on the couch,  on his shoulder, Tom got up,  and gave me sweet kiss on my forhead, he picked me up, and took me to my room,  and layed me on my bed. Then He left my apartment. An Hour later I got up,  and saw that it was 5:46 pm. "Wow I was sleeping for a long time" I thought.  I got out of my bed,  and saw I had a text on my phone,  i looked at the phone it was from Tom. I smiled. It said:

Tom: Hey darling I just wanted to let you know I had a wonderful brunch!! I enjoyed reading Shakespeare too! Then you had fell asleep next to me you look so pretty when you sleep Then  I put on your bed I hope you  had a nice sleep. And hope to go on another date soon! Love Tom

"That wasnt  to long ago" I thought.  I walked to my bathroom after that I texted him back.

Emma: Hi Tom, I had a wonderful lunch too! it was really nice. And ohh that was to kind. Thank you!! And I did have a nice sleep!

thanks. Me too I would love that!! love Emma. I sent the next.   

Then I sat on my bed feeling happy. Then I decided to go and make some dinner,  I walked out of my room,  and saw I got a text I looked it was from Tom. 

Tom:  Your very welcome! And yeah I would love  too  just tell me when you want to go out and im here!   :-)

I texted him back when I went down stairs. 

Emma:  Ohh ok cool! ttyl im going to make dinner.

I went in the kitchen and started making dinner, then I got a text back from Tom, I was about  to see what it said then my phone  rang,  I looked at the name it was my friend Anna. I picked it up. 

Emma: Hello, I said.

Anna: Hey girl! how was your weekend and how are you? she asked sounding happy. 

Emma: It was good! and im fine what about you? I asked. Then I  started taking out stuff do make for dinner.  I took out a box of macaroni and cheese,  and some  chicken from the fridge,  and frozen vegetables.  

Emma: It was good and im good how about you?  she asked.

Anna: Im good whats up? she asked.

Emma: Im about to make dinner so can I call you back? I asked.

Anna: Yeah sure! ok ttyl she said.

Emma: ok bye ttyl. I said then I hung up.

After I ate,  I watched Tv, and  talked to  Anna some more.  Then I decided to go take a hot shower.  After my shower,  I saw I got a text on my phone, it was from Tom.

Tom: Hey Darling how was your dinner? and I wanted to Know If you wanted to go out for dinner Thurs?

I texted him back, I love how he always texted me and wanted to talk. 

Emma: Hey it was delish! thanks.. and um ill have to look  at my schedule to see of I can..

5 minutes later..

Tom: oh that's wonderful! and oh ok alright that's ok. 

After I texted him back, and went to my room I  layed  in bed,   thinking about work, Tom and other things. Then I turned off my light,  and  closed my eyes and went to sleep. 

Hey guys, sorry if there wasn't a lot of stuff going on but next time there will  be more romantic stuff I promise!!! And sorry if it was kinda short.  But I hope you guys enjoyed it anyway!! I think Emma and Tom will make a great couple in the next chapter!! So be looking out for that!!
