The Hoenn journey.

The journey begins! Brendans Point of view

I walked out of Little Root town and onto route 101 and looked around, the scenery was beautiful, I walked along near some grass, and saw a little kid.
"Hey! Lets battle!" He said, I reached for Mudkips ball and tossed it into the air. "Lets go, Mudkip!" I said, the boy tossed out a pokeball with a Poochyena inside, it growled and snarled at Mudkip, Mudkip jumped back and used Water gun without command. "Good job, Mudkip!" I yelled with confidence, Mudkip looked back and smiled. "Poochyena! Tackle!" The youngster said. Mudkip took the hit, but didn't seem to take much damage. Then Mudkip finished it off with a Water Gun. "Good job, Mudkip!" I said while grinning, I returned Mudkip and walked farther into Oldale town.
'Oldale town, where things start off scarce' that's what the sign read.
"Hey! You there!" Someone yelled, I looked around and it was a Pokemart employee, "Want some free Potions?" He said as he ran over to me. "Sure, why not?" I replied, the man handed me 10 potions. "Thanks!" I said while grinning. I headed for route 102, there was some nerd. "Hey.. can I pass through here?" I said
"No! Don't step on those footprints!" The nerd said. "Ok....?" I said, and started for route 103, it was kinda pointless though.. being a dead end route and the only other way was to use surf, which Mudkip didn't know. I saw May farther into the route. I ran over "Hey May!" I said while smiling. "Hey Brendan!" She replied "Fancy a Pokémon battle?" May said while grinning. "Your on!" -Play music!-
I reached for Mudkips Pokeball and tossed it into the air "Mudkip! I choose you!" I yelled, Mudkip came out the ball. "Ok, Treecko! Lets go!" May said and she threw Treeckos ball in the air.
"Now Mudkip! Tackle!" I yelled and Mudkip dived in and tackled Treecko got hit, "Now Treecko! Absorb!" May yelled. 'That's super effective!' I thought "Mudkip! Dodge!" Mudkip didn't dodge but instead did a counterattack by using water gun to break the absorb and went for tackle, knocking out Mays Treecko. "Wow Brendan! Your really strong!" May said. "O-oh! Thanks May!" I blushed, "See ya around!" She said and she walked away. -Stop Music if it's still going-. I walked back to Oldale town. The nerd wasn't in the way of route 102 but he was standing besides the path. "Did you find out what the footsteps were?" I asked. "Erm. Turns out they were my footsteps..." the nerd said, he looked embarrassed, I just laughed and he did as well, I started my way through route 102, I knew where I was heading, Petalburg City, I walked through the route, I battled a couple trainers and I walked into Petalburg, I looked around. I saw the yellow topped building, I started towards the gym.
"Not bad... It was a good battle.." I recognized that voice, it was dads! "Dad!" I said, dad looked at me and smiled. "Hey, Brendan!" Dad said "How's it going?" . "Good!" I replied, "Well, we can go talk inside the gym" dad said, I nodded and we walked inside, "I see you have a Pokémon now!" Dad said "But if you wish to challenge me as a gym leader you must collect the first four gym badges. One from Roxanne, one from Brawly, one from Wattson and the last from Flannery!". I nodded in a agreement but then a green haired boy walked into the gym...
"H-Hi.. I'm Wally.. I came for a Pokémon.." Wally said. "Brendan! Why not go help this young man catch a Pokémon!" Dad said "Take this Zigzagoon and head over to route 102!"
"O-ok, dad!" I said and I took Zigzagoons ball and headed out with Wally.". "I'm pretty sure route 102 is that way..." Wally said while pointing the direction, we walked into route 102, Wally walked into the grass with the Zigzagoon and found a wild Ralts! "W-Wow!" Wally said with surprise, "Zigzagoon! Tackle!" Wally yelled, Zigzagoon dived in and hit the Ralts. "Now! Pokeball!" Wally said and he threw the Pokeball at Ralts...
1....2.....3.... click! "I did it! I caught a Ralts!" Wally said acting proud. "Nice, Wally! I think I'll get one too!" I said, I looked around and saw one of of the corner of my eye, aha! I used Mudkips Water gun to weaken it and then threw out the Pokeball! 1......2.....3..... click! I had done it! I had caught a Ralts! I was so happy, I looked down at the Pokeball and let out Ralts,
"Ralts! Ralts!" It said I chuckled and returned the Pokémon, "I think we should head back to the gym and return that Pokémon, Wally!" I said. "Yeah Brendan, that's a good idea" Wally said, we turned around and headed out of route 102 and into Petalburg. Me and Wally raced each other to the gym, I won. But that's not the point, the point is I helped someone catch a Pokémon, after we walked into the gym, Wally showed my dad his Ralts, and returned the Zigzagoon, Wally walked out the door, "Thanks for helping him out, Brendan." Dad said "No problem dad.. No problem."
